Hotels in Tamsui Old Street, New Taipei City

The location is very close to the Danshui MRT station. It is very convenient to go to Danshui Old Street or the lively snack alley next door. The room size is acceptable, but the air-conditioning has a musty smell. When blowing the hair, the hair dryer temporarily put the switch on the ground and did not turn off. It was found that a lot of the bottom of the bed was blown out. Very scary~ The cleaning should not have noticed the production

It was my first time staying in a motel. The room was large but had a strong musty smell. The bathroom was large and had an oven, which was amazing. The curtains on the bathtub let in light, so I didn't dare use it. The upward showerhead had mold, so I used a traditional showerhead. The carpet in the room was dusty and full of small debris, and the curtains were dusty and had cigarette burns. There were still hairs on the bedside table. The snacks and instant noodles and drinks provided in the room were great, and the service staff was friendly.

I live on the 7th floor, and the view faces the Tamsui River and mangrove wetlands, overlooking Bali opposite, which is very open. The rooms are spacious and the environment is peaceful. The price includes breakfast. I had white porridge, snacks with porridge and salad dishes. There are beverages such as bread, milk tea, coffee and juice, as well as hot food and rice. Simple and light, to my taste. After breakfast, we also went for a walk in the wetland mangrove opposite the hotel. The round trip only took an hour. It was a good choice for a walk after the meal.

The hotel staff are very polite and patient. The room is large, the equipment is new, and there is an AI speaker to help you intelligently manage the lights, air conditioning, telephone equipment, hotel facilities such as gym, massage services, etc. The hot spring is amber gold soup, and your skin will be very smooth after soaking. There is a bath chair for showering in the room, a private hot spring, which is very advanced. There is also a small kitchen in the room, which is basically like the facilities of a serviced apartment.

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, with functional heating and cooling controls. Close to Tamsui Old Street and MRT station. Convenient to the beach and old street for shopping, there is a big shopping mall downstairs.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a little disappointing that the breakfast buffet was closed while we were there and we were given vouchers to a nearby restaurant. But even that was still a good experience. The location is good, as you can walk to the night market in just a few minutes, and can walk to the river in just over 10 minutes.

I will definitely stay at this hotel every time I come to Taipei, because it is near Tamsui MRT Station, with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. Walking near Tamsui River is really relaxing and refreshing, and Tamsui Old Street is also nearby. Delicious food is available. But I felt it was quite old when I checked in this time. I probably won’t choose this hotel again in the future.
