It's just a few minutes walk from the famous stairs in Jiufen, so the location is great and it's reasonably priced. There are so many people in Jiufen during the day that it's hard to walk, so if you want to walk around the town at your own pace, this is the place to stay.
The rooms are spacious enough for a stay, and each room has a shower and toilet.
There was also a shared table outside the room.

The location is good because it is in Jiupunan. The owner is kind and we slept with a family of four, but the room was bigger than we thought, so it wasn't bad. However, please note that the stairs from Jiupunan to the accommodation are a bit hellish.

I went to a completely unfamiliar shop and was shown to my room.
Maybe they were out?
In the end I didn't meet anyone from the hotel.
The hotel is near a famous teahouse, so I went back in the evening when there were fewer people there to take photos.
The hotel was fine except for the shower.

The building was hard to find, but I found it by looking at Google Maps. It was about 5 minutes from the bus stop, down the narrow stairs to the light road. The location was great, and if you walk a little to the right, you'll arrive in front of the movie theater in the center of the city at 9 minutes.
The building was also very clean and tidy. You will be given two keys. One is the key to the building's front door (this is used to enter the building as it is closed at night). The other is the room key.
There was a dryer in the room in 9 minutes, as it is very humid. However, after one night, moisture was overflowing from the machine.
