Wulai Spring Spa Hot Springs Resort

The hotel rooms are very large, overlooking the green mountain views, and have independent private large hot springs and cold water pools. There are not many restaurant options nearby, and breakfast is provided. Although the food is average, the restaurant has a great view.

The accommodation space is very spacious and there is a private hot spring. The waiter was very polite and hospitable. We lived on the 2nd floor and he helped with the luggage. The room facilities are clean and sanitary, which makes our holiday enjoyable.

The breakfast is exquisite and the environment is beautiful. A very nice place to take a bath.

The hotel check-in is at 5:00pm (you can take an early flight and explore Taipei for a while, then take the MRT to Xindian Station and transfer to a taxi). The price of taxis to Wulai is regulated by the New Taipei City Government! The price is clear at a glance, it’s great!  The Atayal-style hotel has a unique style and is a cost-effective hotel. The front desk staff introduced the facilities of the room in detail, and also helped to carry luggage to the room (because there is no luggage in this hotel). The deluxe hot spring suite we stayed in this time is on the second floor, which is the highest floor. The floor is very high, and the space feels large and clean. There are cold soup and hot soup in the room, and there are also large glass windows to see the mountain view, but due to the water vapor, the mountain view is also hazy.  Dazhong Hot Spring is relatively ordinary. It is a separate bath for men and women. You can't see the mountain view on the opposite side when bathing in the bath. However, there is a rest area where you can enjoy the mountain and river views. (Because I have lived in the Pushi Lizhi next door, I enjoyed bathing in the hot springs and looking at the mountain views across the way. It was very relaxing.) The lady at the front desk was very hospitable. Knowing that we were staying for 3 days and 2 nights, she told us that we had a choice of breakfast, including xiaolongbao on the second day. (However, the standard of breakfast is very good. There is also hot and cold coffee or tea for self-service. You can eat breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the mountain and river views.) In addition, when the helper called a taxi to the entrance of Neidong Forest, he also reminded us that the city government is stipulated price. She's so sweet too. There is a 7-11 in front of the hotel. Late night snack must be cup noodles from Taiwan... Although the hotel does not provide dinner. (I checked online and it was there. The staff said it was only there before the epidemic. It is no longer available now. I hope they will update the website.)  The solution for dinner is 1. Walk about 15 minutes to Wulai Old Street. Some restaurants charge around 10 o'clock. 2. Or take 849 to the entrance of the tunnel (Agai Auntie Food) for dinner (recommended by the owner of Wulai Old Street Coffee Shop😊), it’s really good👍🏻
