It was a clean and nice hotel. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the center of major tourist attractions and parking was convenient. You can park your car after check-out until 2pm.

The front desk service is very good, but the travel converter cannot be used. The front desk also specially helps arrange for people to buy it and deliver it to the room. The room service was also very fast. They even sent a piece of bread, so I was too lazy to argue.

Perfect location, walking distance to pretty much everything to do in downtown New Orleans. Room was very clean, bathroom was small but understandable. Staff was very friendly and nice even during an influx of check ins. They were still pleasant and nice. Staff and food at the restaurant were very nice and accommodating as well. Valet service was extra but worth it. No issues and staff were very nice. Beverage fridge in the room was stocked full with variety for purchase. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and the room was cleaned without having to ask for anything. Overall a great stay. This was my first time staying at this hotel despite being to NOLA way too many times to count. Will definitely add to my rotation of hotels for future stays.

Constantly heard the elevator all night. The bed vibrated like the machine room was under neath it. You can tell that this was the room they sold on discount booking sites because it was in the corner by itself behind the elevators. If you get room 420 you know you got shafted. Slept like crap worst night sleep ever

There was a used soap bar in the shower when we arrived. The bed was extremely hard and the pillows were very soft, it was not comfortable. When we arrived the room was warm and the water was hot. Part of the way through our first shower the water got cold and the heater quit working. The next day it got COLD outside and there was absolutely no hot water, got out of a cold shower and the air was blowing very cold. They did send someone up to fix the issues and we had hot water that evening. When we woke up in the morning the room was 79 degrees though the heater was set at 70. It was very hot. The shower was cold again and there was brown water leaking through the ceiling tiles above the shower.
The location was convenient and the view of the river was really nice.

The hotel is great but the cost of the room was extremely high. I visit this hotel occasionally and I've never had any complaints until now. I understand there was an event happening the weekend I stayed but the amount of money I paid for the stay should have gotten me all the services offered by the hotel. The valet parking was unavailable which caused a problem for me due to some health conditions. However, the overall stay was good.

KKseniia KoshevaiaWe recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Peter and Paul in New Orleans and overall, it was a delightful experience. The interior of the hotel exudes a captivating charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort seamlessly. The attention to detail in the design adds a unique touch to the ambiance.
The service at Hôtel Peter and Paul was exceptional, with a staff that was attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations or promptly addressing any concerns, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.
While the overall experience was positive, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the housekeeping service. It wasn't as thorough as I would have expected, and some details were overlooked. However, this didn't overshadow the other positive aspects of the stay.
In conclusion, Hôtel Peter and Paul offers a charming and unique retreat in the heart of New Orleans. The impressive interior and outstanding service make it a memorable choice for those seeking a distinctive and comfortable stay in this vibrant city.
GGuest UserWe were on a trip with 4 other couples, all staying in various hotels around Canal/Bourbon street, and the property at Virgin Hotels in New Orleans, from the lobby/coffeshop, to the room, to the rooftop bar were far and away better than the other properties for around the same price. It was our Anniversary weekend, and there was a very nice gift from the hotel in our room upon arrival, and everything was perfect. For anyone looking to see the WWII museum on their stay, it was an easy 10 min. walk, and Bourbon Street was 15-20 minutes away (for those inclined).
The pictures and reviews on this hotel are accurate and probably understated compared to the experience we just had there in May 2022!

GGrinder LamGreat location at the garden district. Easy access to the tram ride.
Staffs were friendly. If you like the old new orleans flares this would be the perfect hotel for you
We had the suite. Beds were very comfortable. Extra living room was perfect.
Don't miss out on their amazing rooftop bar view.
However the hotel needs some remodeling.
Carpet is old, bathroom outlet isn't working. Bathroom overall needs update. Needs more light fixture. 1 elevator is not operating. Another one was down for half a day.
KKenzhao777The hotel is located in the city center with convenient transportation and high cost performance. I just smelled something bad in the elevator one day and it felt very bad. Mr. Jay at the front desk of the hotel was very enthusiastic and could also speak Chinese. He taught him a very standard Shanghainese phrase ”Thank you”. Like it👍

GGuest UserVisiting from Texas for a brief weekend trip, we wanted somewhere near the action of New Orleans, and Le Pavillon checks that box. It offers very luxurious and beautiful lodging for a fair price. Unfortunately we didn't see any of the famous ghostly visitors, but that's okay, maybe next time. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but that's not really an issue for me as I wasn't spending so much time in the room. I didn't interact with any staff aside from checking in and out so I can't remark much on that. I was a bit disappointed that the rooftop and pool was closed, that may have affected whether or not I would have booked there. I enjoy a nice rooftop view and conversation, especially in cities like New Orleans. There is some kind of $10 historic fee I have to pay at check out, that I didn't understand and annoyed me slightly, so anticipate to pay that, as well as $40 - $50 for parking. Overall all it was a nice stay and I would do it again in the future.

VVictoria FrancesThe reception staff and Bell Man were beyond lovely. My wine unfortunately smashed in my suitcase and they went beyond the call of duty to help make sure everything was dry and clean in time for my flight. They also gave some really useful tips for restaurants in the vicinity when I checked in! Creole House is very near and delicious. I liked the location of this hotel, you could walk to most of the main attractions bourbon street ect but also easy to get an uber too at night time or if it was too hot!

GGuest UserTo check into the room was a breeze. The customer service rep was excellent at his job and even helped me get information about a tour I had booked. The room itself was shabby or well worn looking and smelled. Maid service was good in that the bed was made everyday, but the bed itself was lumpy. There were rust stains in the bathtub. To step outside to smoke a cigarette, one is bombarded with homeless people asking for money or cigarettes. Seems more could have been done to safeguard guests standing in front of the hotel waiting for something or just getting a breath of fresh air from such harassment. I then found out there was a balcony on the 2nd floor where guests could go to smoke their cigarette. The view from the balcony is excellent as it looks right down on Burbon Street, what a treat. Spending days exploring the city and later going to the balcony in the evenings became a routine for me. That is until one night leaving the balcony heading toward the elevator I ran up upon a woman who was stooped down peeing on the floor by the wall that has a picture of a lady with a piece of paper over her eyes. There were bathrooms on the second floor, so I couldn't understand why she would do that. I guess that speaks to the type of person she is. I was appalled. If that is a representation of the type of people who book rooms at the Astor, then that hotel is not the hotel for me! No, I will never stay there again
