The Thatched Eaves is now our No. 1 choice for a place to stay near the New Forest. We stayed in the Cedar Suite which was beautifully appointed, modern and stylish with a lovely outlook over the garden, and it was spotlessly clean. Alice & Andrew were the perfect hosts, and breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, and look forward to returning soon.

We booked a last minute stay at Thatched Eaves and can only say we’re so glad we found it! The accommodation was spotless, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very welcoming. A beautiful place to relax. Next time we’re in the new forest we won’t look anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Thatched eaves is lovely for a quiet relaxing time. It’s situated next a lovely pub too. Food is lovely there and the guys who own it are brilliant. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

Extraordinary Place to stay. Very Familiy- friendly and accommodating owner. Great Room with a beautiful Bathroom. Breakfast was great too; Fresh fruit, very well prepared full english breakfast. A Lovely place to stay.

Thatched Eaves is a wonderful place to stay! Our accommodation in the Cedar Suite had everything we needed, was very attractively furnished and comfortable. The location is excellent with so many places to visit nearby. The hosts Alice and Andrew were lovely and so friendly and helpful, it was a real pleasure to meet them. I would highly recommend staying here!

This is our favourite ever place. We love it so much and Alice and Andrew have become friends. We try and visit every month as we have other dear friends in the area. Alice and Andrew can't do enough for their guests, she even did my grandaughter's hair when I was struggling! 5* accommodation and the best scrambled eggs anywhere! A beautiful property and a great place to stay. The decor was outstanding and so comfortable. Everything was such high class. The best breakfast I've had in any hotel. Alice and Andrew are such lovely people and their attention to detail and hospitality was first class. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I'm in the New Forest again

You can’t get better anywhere else! This is our third visit and we are already planning our 4th! Alice and Andrew are the most amazing hosts, nothing too much trouble and such lovely personal touches to make us feel at home. Breakfast is always faultless and sets us up for the day ahead. Cedar Suite is perfect for us as a couple and has everything needed for our weekend getaways. Pub next door is fantastic for dinner and drinks (nachos to die for!) The cottage itself and grounds are beautiful, especially at night with all the lovely fairy lights. Couldn’t ask for anything else- just perfect!

Fantastic stay
