Service : There's no doubt on the service from Myanmar people. Everywhere we went, we felt they are very welcoming and always ready to help you. Although you could say partly it was because of we pay the money, but do not doubt their sincerity and attentiveness to your request, it was really really good. That was a big thumb-up for the hotel service and staff! You could always contact the hotel to ask for the pick-up/drop-off service to/from airport or bus terminal as well. And also sunrise watching service at nearby hill which is a must-do! Note that we are not allowed to climb pagodas now to watch the sunrise as they wanted to maintain the pagodas. So usually the taxi driver will suggest you where to catch for the sunrise/sunset if you signed up the service with them. Room : The hotel is quite new and wifi signal is pretty good. Thus, everything in the room and toilet is also very new and clean. We had a very comfortable stay here. However, there weren't much choices for the breakfast selection. Partly because the hotel is not very big to accommodate large crowds, so the food has limited choices. Location : We rented e-Bike with the hotel and tour around New Bagan for some restaurants and Old Bagan for pagodas. 8000 Kyats per day for an e-Bike which could accommodate 2 person. Don't worry, there are quite a few restaurants nearby for lunch/dinner. Overall : I like the stay in this hotel.

Maya Bagan is by far the best place to stay in all of south-east asia! The hospitality is fantastic the staff and owner make this place very welcoming and special! They also a have great free breakfast every morning! Plus the lunch and dinner menu is amazing! Maya also has live music every night And the atmosphere of the other guests makes it so much fun! Maya also has cheap and very reliable e-bikes to rent which makes it very easy to go see the sunrise and sunset every morning! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone!
