Silver Sand Beach Resort Neil

Not for me…. After a disastrous stay at Silver Sand Sea Princess I was dreading this stay just as much! I really missed a beat when checking in as I hadn’t paid for the room so should’ve just cut my losses and stayed elsewhere. Unsurprisingly the WiFi wasn’t working when I arrived (same as the other Silver Sand Sea Princess) yet they have WiFi to take payment! Staff on reception couldn’t care less that you can’t get online. The woman even laughed when I said all I wanted to do was send a message to my husband to let him know I was ok (travelling solo). It took for the general manager to let me log onto his personal WiFi to send the message which I appreciated- thank you. I had requested a high floor room and this is what I was allocated. Sadly I wasn’t informed I would be sharing it with pigeons ratching around in the roof all day and then when they went to bed the bats came out! Sad to say sleep was extremely deprived that night 👎 Next day I requested to move to a ground floor room which I don’t like when I’m staying alone but at least I could have a decent nights sleep. My request was accommodated and that room was much quieter. 👍 However I did decide to move to another hotel for my last night as there’s not much to do in that area and I was bored stiff. On a positive the beach was nice and relaxing, food in the restaurant was good and staff (apart from Reception) were smiley and friendly. The 3 stars are for the food, staff and accommodating my room change.

Loved this resort with private beach, swimming pool and delicious dishes. We went with an infant and toddler. The restaurant staffs supported all the time during our stay. The chef Kamal and other staffs enlightened us with yummy , delicious spread of foods. Even prepared food for my baby. There was live music at the evening. Wifi was not accessible from room. Room and bathroom was decent with AC. The front desk could haveen more welcoming.

It is wonderful heaven in Neil Island. With the available space they've created luxury therein. While they mention beach resort, the beach cannot be seen from rooms and is at 5-7min walking distance but not an issue. the view is beautiful. They've preserved the older big trees which is heart-warming to see. The service was very good. thank you to the resort staff for wonderful stay

Very good property. very friendly staff. good food. vast property with big rooms and very well maintained property. Been with my family including two small kids, was really enjoyed the stay of 2 nights. they can definitely add free pick up and drop from jetty.

This review is in context with our worst stay at your property at Neil Island. The team at Silver Sand made sure that we have the worst experience of our life with your hotels. The food at the gala dinner was pathetic with very limited options for vegetarian and you have charged the same amount of money for both veg and non veg menu. The manager does not understand and feels like has no power at all at the resort and he is just there placed to manage basic activities of the resort. At our dinner when we ordered drinks the bar tender has an audacity to send 3 staff members behind us to check whether we have got anything from outside or not and made them continuously stay around our table, the same when complained to the resort manager he dint even check with the bar tender for the same. With such experience i am highly disappointed and feel cheated.

Nice courteous service, special mention of Mr. Sarindam Pal for polite and on toes service. Recommended for stays... Nice clean and hygienic cottages, mesmerising beach view and good gardens. .....................................
