Our three-generation family enjoyed five nights at this Beaches location. Our daughter and family had spent time at Turks and Caicos last spring and recommended the property for my family birthday celebration. Most of us stayed in a villa which was quite beautiful and earns a 5 in accommodation. Our son and daughter in law desired some privacy so opted not to stay in the villa. Their hotel like room was very poor - small, in need of some repair and no pleasant outside space. Moral - you definitely get what you pay for here. Housekeeping was very good. Activities - kids camp is excellent, waterpark fun for all, boat ride (comes with villa) a highlight of the trip, beach with lots of opportunity for shade and uncrowded. Because it is a family resort, nights in pool/hot tubs are lovely with no one around. There is a late-night spot referred to as a club. But we only discovered this accidentally on our last night. Food - good enough and probably better than most all-inclusive resorts. I thought the beach front food trucks and restaurants were very good. We enjoyed the sushi restaurant and the chef cooked dinner which is part of the villa experience was excellent. The best meal of the trip. I was disappointed in the food at the two reservation restaurants though the hibachi was a fun experience. The villa also comes with a butler experience. Both our butlers, Roshane and Shanece were very hard working, and conscientious about their responsibilities. They made life easier with reservations, beach space, servings lunches and drinks and overall trying to ensure we had a good time. They accommodated our son and daughter in law in our activities which we appreciated. While they weren't on the villa list of occupants, since we had paid for a space that has a capacity for many more, we thought that reasonable. In the future I would converse with the property about our intention prior to booking. Most of the staff were warm and hospitable. Had fun conversations with Shanece and K. (beach life guard). Thank you both for being so pleasant. Only negative is the lack of clarity about the butler tipping policy. The resort communication about this that was received before the trip was that the no tipping policy had been relaxed for butlers. This did not convey that these were tip dependent positions and as a result we did not bring sufficient cash. My attempts to find out a recommended tipping range from management was an exercise in frustration. I strongly suggest that you provide guests with a recommended tip range that would be clear to both staff and guest. A tip range is not a requirement but a guide which I would have appreciated.

My family and I traveled to Beaches Negril in September 2024. While it was the slow season, we had an amazing trip. The resort staff at Beaches Negril is simply the best. Each member of the entertainment team personally interacted with my family (especially my daughter) on multiple occasions and made her feel so special. A highlight was getting "Peaches" sung to her during one of the live shows, after a few days on resort, we began to build a little rapport with them as we saw them throughout the resort. A special shout out to the watersports team - Levon, Alex, Julian, and Raphael highlighting our trip once again. The snorkeling trips and glass bottom boat rides with these guys easily made for great experiences. Finally, each member of the wait staff was extremely courteous of eating with two small kids, Abigail at one StewFish dinner really went above and beyond to ensure our little ones had all they needed, ensuring their meals came fast and first! Thank you Beaches Negril for another great vacation.

I give my Beaches Negril vacation 3 out of 5 stars. This was my 4th Sandals/beaches location and unfortunately, the experience was not a 5 star. Prior to this we stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos, Beaches Ocho Rios and Sandals Granfe St. Lucian. We typically reserve a new trip while onsite but didn’t this time because of the experience. The Good: We reserved a tropical 1 bedroom grand concierge family suite - 1BG. We were assigned to the Santa Cruz building. We loved the location and the view from our room. The room was clean and well appointed. Our housekeeper, Shoshauna, ensured we had all we needed in our room. The entertainment staff was amazing. Delly, Nae Nae, Miguel and the entire entertainment staff worked tirelessly to ensure that the guests are enjoying themselves. We rented a cabana and June was an excellent cabana butler. Every staff member we encountered was helpful. The staff gets 5 out of 5 stars. The Bad: The food overall was mediocre and the temperature of the food was inconsistent.  The food did not have much flavor, especially the Jamaican food which did not taste authentic. In addition, the restaurants were out of menu items on numerous occasions. Compounding the missing menu items, the buffet staff did not adequately prepare for the number of guests visiting the buffet. Many times they ran out of a dish, well before closing time and did not replenish it. In one such occasion they ran out of pancakes at breakfast. A number of guests approached the staff to request a refill of the pancake. The staff brought out 5 more pancakes. Because I happen to be standing nearby on the egg line I saw the pancakes and was able to get 2. Another patron took the other 3 and there was none remaining for the other guests. The limited amount of food made for a frustrating dining experience, especially with dietary restrictions and picky children.  We also experienced an unfortunate event that should not have occurred in any dining establishment. On our last night we were scheduled to eat at Kimonos. We were actually looking forward to it. However, while seated and placing our appetizer order, a roach crawled across the table. The waitress noticing it, quickly grabbed my son’s napkins and killed it, wrapping it in the napkin. She apologized and proceeded to take our drink orders. I was concerned about remaining in the restaurant and was discussing it with my family. Before the waitress could return, another roach crawled onto my leg. At this point we decided to leave. We notified the maitre d and he apologized and offered to move us to another table. We declined, choosing to leave the restaurant instead and he wrote down our room number. I don’t think he told anyone in management as no one contacted us regarding the incident. I sent an email to the general management once we returned home in the hopes the issue will be corrected before it impacts another guest. No one has acknowledged receipt of our email so I’m not sure if the issue has be

We absolutely loved our stay from the moment we stepped onto the resort! Rooms were clean and beautiful. There was so much to do for kids and adults and the kids club was up to date, clean, and we felt so comfortable leaving our little girls there while we had a dinner for two. The entertainment was PHENOMENAL! Every night something new and awesome for us to do! We loved the little details throughout the resort. To top it off, the photographers that we got to know and took photos of our family were delightful, professional, and we got the best photographs! We never had to leave the resort. The excursions we did with our 7 year olds were perfect! Snorkeling was fantastic and the glass bottom boat was really neat! Only negative comment is that concierge mixed up a couple of our reservations - but it seemed to be an easy fix and they accommodated us. Overall, perfect trip and we already booked our next Beaches vacation!

Loved: layed back feel, the people, beautiful beaches & landscape. Special shoutout to the entertainment crew, we adore yall. Beaches Negril has amazing talent on this crew. Delly, Jose, Shamoya, & Nae Nae were so kind & friendly. Delano & Mario were our absolute fav bartenders. Crepes & coffee were amazing. Fire & water shows were fantastic. Improvements: more authentic Jamaican foods & choices, more raggae live music, less family game nights.

I love Sandals and have been to many. This was my first time going to Beaches. We stayed at Beaches Negril. It had all the great amenities as Sandals. The staff were wonderful. My only complaint is that the power frequently went out multiple times a day. Sometimes it was go out and then come back very quickly, but there were a few times where it was a long time. I treated myself to a pedicure and the power went out in the middle of it and I had to use my cell phone so she could finish painting my nails. Also, I should mention the pedicure was not luxurious- the chair used was a regular office style chair and eventually became very comfortable. I was really unhappy with the spa experience. The room we stayed in was nice, however the bathroom was not in the greatest shape. The toilet frequently needed to be adjusted because it would run after every flush. The shower/bath stall was old and you could feel the bottom caving in with weight. I do know there are other areas more newly renovated and wish we had that building instead. Also, our last day the griddle was not working and we couldn’t have omelette/eggs. Overall, the trip was great but I don’t think I would return to the negril location. It seems that things are in need of renovation. When you pay top dollar, you don’t expect to go somewhere that seems run down.

Beware of customer service for Beaches as they are not helpful is solving issues regarding pricing discrepancies from the website when changing the reservation and spending nearly 2x more than what I first made a reservation for. I hope this doesn't set the tone for our upcoming vacation.

The Only nice thing about this place was that our room was clean. Our room was supposed to be beach front and connecting to our kids room but instead we had a cardboard wall with a pic of the beach on it and instead connected to someone who was coughing and hacking the whole trip. Ofcourse nothing could be done. Whatever we were determined to have a good time. Nope! The hubby slipped and fell on their slimey foot rinse and twisted his ankle first night. No ice in the machines. No help whatsoever until the next morning. We had to pay our own ride to and from the urgent care. No employees seemed the least bit concerned about anything at all. Workers got brown paint all over my bathing suit on our patio. Garbage. No working a/c at Hibachi. Workers were not friendly and miserable. Tried to use the watersports but employees didn't want to be bothered and kept telling us to come back. Sitting on the beach the spa Workers made their rounds trying to get appts made but they saw us and Said no let's go to where the money is and went to the cabanas instead. You can't relax on the Beach because you had people hounding you to buy stuff or excursions while you were in the water. I can't believe Delly is still working there. He was the Rudest fake person there who should not be working with kids. He was terrible to my sweet shy daughter. Management could care less. Food was tasteless but I didn't have to cook so that was okay. We actually saw bartenders watering down the drinks at the bar with the karaoke. The entertainment left a lot to be desired. They use the same people over and over again it was just boring. The lack of friendliness throughout the resort was sad. Our past experiences with Jamaica was wonderful in Runaway Bay so we expected the same experience with Negril. Unfortunately we wasted a lot of money and our whole family wanted to leave by Monday we had just gotten there on Saturday. Don't bother trying to defend yourself Beaches. You never returned our phone calls to make it right and we will never sing your praises or return to that resort or any Beaches/Sandals resort. Smh

Our families 3rd visit and hopefully not our last. We are a family of 5 adults and 4/5 divers. The water sports crew was great. King was great with getting our daughter comfortable and so good at what he does. Restaurants were all good, our chef at Kimonos was awesome. Bartenders were faves- Delano, Leon, Mario , Kevon and Luther put up with us. Delly was fun and entertainment team is talented. The rooms and some of the resort are starting to show their age. It’s an island though so it’s expected. Our shower had some moldy stuff, toilet ran a lot and water dripped from a/c. Not as many playmakers and activities for older kids as use to be but i think a slow time of year. Beach is perfect, be sure to catch the sunset
