Sandals Negril Beach All Inclusive Resort and Spa - Couples Only

I loved sandals Negril. The hospitality was amazing. Just to name a few people that were amazing. Dillon our favorite bartender and very nice, Vandame a great photographer and very funny, Stacy ann gave us a great welcome. Tracy ann was one of the excellent ones at the bayside restaurant, also I didnt get a chance to get the name of the woman at the desk when you register for excursions she was a great help and lovely personality. It was others that I don’t have the names of but my girlfriend and I enjoyed ourselves so much. Jamaica feels like my second home. I recently spent five nights at Sandals Negril with my husband celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary. We have previously stayed at Royal Caribbean and MoBay in Jamaica, as well as Grenada. We try to book a new property for each return visit. Negril is set on the beautiful 7 Mile Beach, and many rooms and restaurants face the beach. We opted for a butler swim-up suite this time - our first experience with the butler service. Wadea spoiled us rotten on our anniversary! She worked a double shift that day and had surprises up her sleeve from early morning (decorated beach chairs) to turn-down (decorated room and bath drawn). She was fantastic! (Her partner was Kenrick. He was also kind and personable, but we just didn't see him much. Wadea simply worked more shifts during our 5 night stay, so we got to spend more time with her. They seemed to work double shifts often. I was expecting to see both butlers most days, but that isn't how it worked out.) I had asked to be in a room closer to the Sundowner hot tub, and that request was granted. We had room 6120. The grounds were beautiful and the swim-up pool was maintained daily. We had asked for a few specific items to be stocked in the fridge/bar, and they mostly were. Kenrick brought us extra Red Stripe Light (in bottles) and some cream to keep in the fridge for my husband's morning coffee. Housekeeping did a great job during our stay! Our butlers set us up in chairs near the beach bar and Sundowner restaurant. It was a great location - on the quieter end of the resort. The beach vendors did get a little tiresome. I've never been offered so much smoke in my life. The room itself is ready for renovation, and I knew that going in. I look for a room that is well located (based on what we want to do on that trip), clean, and functional. It mostly met that criteria. In four stays, we've only had one newer room on a Sandals property, so I'm not looking for Sandals 2.0 at every turn, and I prefer a room to look like the country I'm visiting, not a generic beach hotel anywhere in the world. This room is just ready for a facelift. The shower handle was loose - just keep turning it to the left and eventually you'll get warm water. The patio door wouldn't latch properly, so we had to use the sliding chain lock that had been installed. The fan above the sitting area stopped working entirely mid-trip. None of these things ruined our trip. I do wish the sink/bath tub area had a door to close it off from the rest of the room. Turning the light on to take contacts out or wash my face risked waking my husband. The toilet did have a privacy door. Food - Food was not a stand-out for us this trip. I enjoyed the steak at Kimonos, and my husband loved the snapper at Brava. Other things were hit or miss. My husband has adhered to a pescatarian diet for many years, and that seems like it would be super easy to accommodate at a beach resort. If I had to pick one thing that stood out the most it would definitely be the customer service, everyone was extremely friendly and it made an excellent resort that much better. A huge thanks to the staff at the Sandals!

We had an amazing trip last week to Sandals Negril. The resort is beautiful and so relaxing. Our room was updated and great as well. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the food choices, there are much less restaurants than other resorts we’ve been to, but the food was great at the restaurants! We just like to have a variety!

Culinary Highlights The food at Sandals Negril was absolutely five-star. Every meal was a celebration of flavor, and several dishes deserve special mention: • The Sundowner served one of the most incredible surf and turf dinners we’ve had — the lobster and steak were cooked to perfection, and the crabcake was so fresh and well-seasoned that we ordered it more than once. • Bayside offered a delightful experience, with standout dishes like the escargot, paired beautifully with a relaxed evening ambiance. But the culinary excellence didn’t stop there — we also ventured down to Beaches, where we were blown away by both the Italian restaurant and the sushi bar. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic flavors. At Crema, every morning started with a perfect cup of coffee — rich, balanced, and expertly crafted. We were impressed to learn that the resort flew in a master barista from another country to train the team, ensuring they were not only skilled but also certified in the art of coffee-making. Their passion showed in every cup. Outstanding Service While not every interaction met a perfect standard, several team members truly elevated our stay: • Michelle at Sundowner delivered consistent, attentive, and warm service every time we dined there. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. • At Bayside, Olivia was an absolute standout. Her energy, promptness, and friendly nature set a gold standard — if everyone on property were like Olivia, the resort would easily rival any five-star global destination. • Stacy-Ann from Club Sandals brought such professionalism and warmth that made us feel cared for throughout our stay. She’s a true asset to the property. • When we experienced an issue at Perla, where staff failed to appear during late-night hours, Lancelot, the Food and Beverage Director, stepped in with true leadership. He handled the matter quickly and professionally, and even made our anniversary celebration one to remember — a personal touch we deeply appreciated. Additionally, I reached out to Cion, one of the managers on staff, through the GINA app, regarding the ocean floaties, which had become dirty due to a seaweed issue. She addressed the concern immediately, and for the rest of our stay, they were cleaned every other day, improving the overall beach experience significantly. Service Feedback While the food and select staff were exceptional, overall service throughout the resort lands between 3.5–4 stars, particularly when compared to Sandals Dunn’s River, where we experienced consistent five-star treatment. We have made our third trip to Sandals Negril this last June, we love the feel of this location, the staff and beach to meet all our needs. We have visited almost all locations on the island but just keep coming back here. I want to make a few special shout outs to Chris at the piano bar that just makes the best drinks around. You are the man! Juli-ann was great keeping us straightened up and clutter free in our room. As usual the staff at Bayside for breakfast are always so friendly and welcoming.
