Dickman Resort "The Boutique Hotel"
4.8/541 Reviews
Dickman resort is simply fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful and very stylish. My wife and I stayed in the Mango suite, which has a huge and comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with rainshower, and always hot water, soap and towels. There is a big fridge, large TV, good A/C, and everything is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is top notch and snacks and drinks provided on request, and at reasonable cost. There is a fantastic pool and sunbeds. Best of all, the guys that work here are so genuinely lovely, friendly and attentive. This has to be up among the best places to stay in Sri Lanka. Do your self a favour and book in. 100% recommend.
Regal Réseau Hotel & Spa

The hotel is about half an hour away from the airport. You can book a shuttle at the front desk for about US$20 per trip. There is a beach downstairs, but the beach is a bit dirty and the sand is co****. The room is quite clean, you need to bring your own slippers, but the soundproofing is average. There is a KTV upstairs and it is a bit noisy before 9pm. There is a bar and swimming pool on the top floor, which is quite large and has a good view. There is a restaurant on the 6th floor. The staff are very enthusiastic, especially the restaurant manager. He is very nice and the pasta is very good. My brother who had a flight to catch a flight told the manager in advance that they can take it away. The price is about the same as at the airport, but his salads are better. There are a lot of colorful peppers and raw onions, and other dishes use some Sri Lankan spices, which are similar to strong curry flavor, so friends who are not used to it should order with caution. Not bad for a one-night transfer between flights.
Ramada by Wyndham Katunayake Colombo International Airport

food was nice . but during morning time sometime we had to wait until pool cleaning ended. so it would be batter if they make it before visitors coming to enter pool. management must educate all room service staff to not to ask for cigarettes from client during the stay.. it's annoying and disturbing. if the visitors gives or offer tips or something , let the visitors do it with thier own choices..

**Exceptional Hospitality at Camelot Beach Hotel Negombo** Camelot Beach Hotel Negombo is a true gem in Sri Lanka, offering exceptional hospitality and a memorable stay. Among the many outstanding staff members, one individual who deserves special recognition is Anton Ireshan Fernando, who works in the restaurant. From the moment we arrived, Anton greeted us with warmth and professionalism. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was flawless. His attention to detail, impeccable service, and genuine care made us feel like valued guests. Anton's knowledge of the menu and his recommendations were spot on. He guided us through the diverse culinary offerings with enthusiasm and ensured that every dish was prepared to perfection. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was inviting. Beyond his professional duties, Anton took a personal interest in our well-being. He inquired about our plans, made suggestions for local attractions, and shared his insights into Sri Lankan culture. We felt like we were not just customers but friends visiting his home. As we checked out, we realized that our stay at Camelot Beach Hotel had been more than just a hotel experience. Anton's exceptional hospitality had transformed it into a memorable journey. We left not only as satisfied guests but as friends. Corundum Breeze Negombo

I stayed in this hotel for a week. It’s only been open for 5 months and at first appearance it looks good, but taking a closer look it’s still being built and repaired. There are still cables jutting out of the wall and ceiling. Although the kitchen is featured in the photos of the room, it has no tap, the cupboards are sealed. I raised some of my concerns when I arrived with the general manager when he asked me questions about my stay and he seemed blasé about addressing it. Based on what was paid, this hotel is overpriced. There are still cement stairways and drilling taking place during the day. The WiFi is awful, they finally installed a router in my room which took the week to do and it only worked on the day of my departure. The best part of the hotel is some staff members who will go out of their way to help, special mention to Jazz. They have a great pool on the roof. Until it’s fully built I wouldn’t recommend staying here!
