This is a great choice to stay on the island. The village has a mix of island type cottages and apartments, it is quiet, and safe with easy access to the beach which is beautiful. Our Apartment had everything you would need to feel comfortable and was in walking distance to restaurants, Liquor stores, supermarkets and a Starbucks is nearby as well. We also walked quite often to the Grand Hyatt Bahar Mar Resort which is close by and has a lot to offer. I also want to mention that our host Lonah was super nice and helpful if we needed something.

The beach is stunning! We only had 1 person on the beach so you prtty n much have it to yourself. Its a min walk but the stairs require you to be able t be mobile. They provided a crooked umbrella and 2 chairs. One was broken. To go to the Fish Fry from Cable Beach was $50 one way. The area was safe but the inside of the airbnb definitely needs work. There was a big roach at night in the bathroom. The internet kept going out but would come back on. I wouldn't recommend this place nor would I ever go back.

Our best trip so far. This was our 5 year anniversary trip and the first time not using a resort. We loved our own private beach area the most that was just steps away from our cottage. The beach was beautiful. We were able to watch the sunrise and set with just us two. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Cozy and clean. Host Lonah, is onsite and always very helpful with everything onsite and recommendations out in town. Walilking distance to many shops and restaurants and a quick ride to downtown. The beach is amazing, and we had it to ourselves most times we were out there. We would definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb . Hassle free. Lona met me the moment I arrived and was always very helpful over phone for any questions! Very safe place if traveling solo ! THE BEACHHHHH OMG, you will have an experience and feel like you have your own private beach! Always one or 2 ppl there the most! So so so stunninggg! Rooms well equipped. Walked to Baha mar everyday or took bus it’s a 2 min ride in bus or 15 min walk! Super convenient! Loved and will be coming back!

This is the absolute best choice for an affordable, clean and convenient Airbnb! The entire property is like a small compound of sorts, encompassing EVERYTHING you'll need. Attractions, other hotels, and the buses are all literally within a 15 min walk. You simply can't beat it. The accommodations themselves clad with state of the art appliances and lovely decor make this a literal home away from home. The private beach area is also set up nicely! I cannot thank Lonah and Isaac enough for their prompt and attentive responses. Also, the connections they have with transportation makes a routinely stressful arrival/ departure quite seamless! Bahamas and Blue Ocean I hope to see you again soon; please leave room for me!🤗

The place is very clean and well situated on a private beach, one of the best beach of the island. Lonah is very nice host. The location is very good, near from good restaurants and supermarket. The deck is amazing. I 100% recomment it. We will comeback for sure.

Blue Ocean Village was such a great solo retreat, the location was quiet and safe. Everyone I encountered was so super friendly. Lonah was available and always ready to help, the studio was clean, the beach was pristine. I can not say enough good about my stay, I look forward to my next trip!
