The hotel is in an excellent location. You can see the green space opposite the window. You can see deer in the early morning and evening. It is very close to Nara Park and other places such as Kofuku-ji Temple and Todai-ji Temple. Kasuga Taisha Shrine can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. The bathroom and toilet are separated. The bathroom is very large and has a large bathtub. But the toilet flushing in the bathroom needs to be manually pulled with great effort, and there is always an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. I don't know if the hair dryer is broken or the function itself is like this. It stops after blowing for a few seconds and the sound is very loud. The most unsatisfactory thing is the WIFI, which is equivalent to no signal. The signal can't reach a single bar. It can only be connected occasionally, but usually can't be connected. Among the several hotels I stayed in, this one has such a bad WIFI. In this era, I didn't expect that there would be hotels with poor WIFI equipment. Now I have learned a lesson. In the future, I must confirm the WIFI equipment in advance when choosing a hotel. I will never choose a hotel with poor WIFI. It is really torturous that I can't use the network after returning to the hotel.

Grandpa and grandma are very patient and nice. The breakfast is very rich. I also had rabbit apples and heart-shaped fried eggs🍳
Nara is really comfortable!
The place where I live is very convenient to go to Nara Park or the city museum. It takes only 17 minutes to walk to Kasuga Taisha Shrine. It's really super happy! Feeding the deer is so happy🥰

Introduction: I went to this hotel on June 27, 2024. They are a brand new hotel ”MIROKU Nara by THE SHARE HOTELS” opened by the Japanese hotel chain brand ”THE SHARE HOTELS”. It is a hotel that focuses on the concept of ”coexistence with nature”. It is located on the pondside south of Nara Park, and you can see the deer in the nearby area up close, as well as the five-story pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple, which is listed as a world cultural heritage and a national treasure of Japan. Some guest rooms can overlook the five-story pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasugayama, and Wakakusa Mountain. The hotel has a stone garden made of Nara materials such as Yoshino cedar and Asuka stone, forming a space that is like an interweaving of ancient and modern times. The hotel also displays Nara's local design brands and Nara's characteristic elements. The overall space can feel the natural interest of Nara and the design craftsmanship of local craftsmen everywhere.
🔥Accommodation experience: This is the most comfortable hotel in Japan. The scenery outside the window is unique and you can see deer. The room is very large and the suitcase can be opened casually. The hotel has complete facilities, and I like the outdoor space on the first floor! There are two options for breakfast in the hotel, one is Western style and the other is Japanese style, but I don’t know why we were given Western style. I actually wanted to try Japanese style, but it was a pity. Overall, I was quite satisfied and the price/performance ratio was high.

Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point.
All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable.
One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this.
I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

Nara Visitor Centre and Inn is charming place located right next to Sarasuwa pond. It is about 7 mins walk from the Kintetsu Nara station. Very near to Kofukuji temple. I stayed from 15-17 June 2023.
I felt warmly received by the staff on duty at the inn. Quite a lot of them are Mandarin and English speaking. I really appreciate one of the elderly gentleman’s staff warmth when he took the time to explain to me the attractions around the inn that I can visit, and he speaks Mandarin very well! I also appreciate the other staff’s eagerness to assist when I asked them questions about tours or to recommend places for breakfast.
A shoutout also to Yukina, who entertained me when I wanted to do the cosplay and Japanese calligraphy. I also really enjoyed the Japanese dance activity provided during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay here :)
I booked a Japanese style room, 8 tatami mats. Spacious for 1. Toiletries provided are sufficient. view from the room showed Kofukuji temple but was blocked by a tree. The only issue I had was that I was given the room at the end of the corridor. I personally preferred not to have a room at end of corridor for personal reasons, but the room was bright, airy and comfortable, and I was happy with it so did not request for a change.

The hotel is very close to Kintetsu Nara Station. It is less than 100 meters walk from Gate 4 to the commercial street. It is also very close to Kofuku-ji Temple. It is about 100 meters away from the east commercial street through the alley. The hotel is very new and clean, but a little small. You can only open the big suitcase in the space where the door is opened after closing the door. There is a small space for hanging clothes and luggage next to the door, and then there is a small toilet and a small double bed. But it is barely acceptable for just one night. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and can speak English. I arrived at the hotel at 13:00 noon and said that there would be rooms available at 14:00, so I left my luggage and went out to eat something before going back to check in. Nara deer can only be seen in the direction of Kofuku-ji Temple. There are no deer near the hotel.

Cleanness: The hotel maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness, and a comfortable and hygienic environment.
Service: The front desk's English is excellent, much better than most I've encountered in Tokyo and Osaka. The instructions are clear and well-explained.
Facilities: Everything from the room to the dining options was exceptional, making my stay very enjoyable. The Japanese-style room made my stay cozy and relaxing.
Overall: I would give 10 out 10 and recommend it to every one.

10 seconds walk from JR Nara Station. It's okay even if it rains. Hotel check-in is on the 3rd floor. The bathhouse on the 6th floor is free. Free drinks on the 3rd floor. Breakfast shows the pride of the hotel. Very delicious.

YYalishiduoluService: The front desk was very polite. The rice balls breakfast was good. The milk was sweet and not fishy at all. It was delicious. There was also a self-service tea from 3pm to 7pm.
Environment: The hotel is located near Nara Park, very close to Kofuku-ji Temple, and about 15 minutes to the subway station.
Facilities: Small but complete. The most basic room type booked, the floor-to-ceiling panoramic window P4 is worth it, but the only drawback is that the table is very small. You need to prepare your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
SShin-Woei FannThe location of this hotel is pretty well, the Kintetsu Nara station is just across the street and the main station of the Nara buses is just in front of the door.
I would not suggest foreign people to go to the East shopping street nearby for food since there are many restaurant closed and hard to get good meals.
As the biggest chain hotel, this Tokoyo inn also has the convenient check in and out protocols and has staff can speak fluent English.
The only obvious problem is the noise can always come in through the closed window. I lived in 4th floor but could still hear clearly when people down in the back street talking during the late night,
Bbobsen_lyuThe hotel is next to JR Nara Station, and there are buses to Nara Park and Todaiji Temple. The transportation is very convenient. There are 2 hot spring pools, one of which can be ventilated outdoors, and the feeling is also good. The most important thing is that the price is affordable. If you come to Nara, it is worth staying. The triple room has upper and lower bunks, and there is enough space. There are also many izakayas near the train station hotel. In addition, you can drink for free in the hotel bar before 21:00, and you can even buy octopus balls downstairs and bring them up to eat. (The hotel welcomes food)
GGuest UserFantastic Hotel with a perfectly convenient location. The only thing is the bad attitude of a female manager at the front desk. We asked for more bottled water, but she refused. Refusing is OK, but she thought we didn't understand Japanese and said some bad words to us.
Unfortunately, we are just not fluent in Japanese, but we can totally understand what she was saying. A pathetic woman manager ruined other staff's good service and hard work.
BBabyKat CIOVery good hotel, good price, good location. This hotel has very good arrangements, good facilities, near JR Nara station just 3 minutes by walk. This hotel provides pajamas, comb, cotton bud, toothbrush for picking up at front of lift. This hotel is very clean, provide towels everyday. All facilities in the room has everything, i really enjoy my 5 days staying in this hotel
GGuest UserI made a reservation on the day.
I thought I had booked a non-smoking room, but was shown to a smoking room, and the smell of cigarettes was so strong that I asked to change it, and they gladly did. The front desk staff was kind.
Drinks are free from 6pm to 9pm.
Unfortunately, they had run out of the alcohol I wanted to drink.
There were only a few side dishes for breakfast, but the bread was delicious.
FFENGThe breakfast is not bad, the staff here are very polite, the service attitude is good, the room is a little bit outdated, but it is better than the price, the hardware is complete, you can take a bath and relax after a day of shopping, it is not bad!
MmlxyyxA very traditional Japanese room, the tatami is very comfortable to sleep on. There is a shower room and toilet on the first floor of the hotel. Although they are public, they are all quite good. The hotel is made of wood, and the corridors are very hot in summer. The room can be air-conditioned, but it is generally good.
XXIAOSAI ordered a double bed and made a loft. The overall space is not very large, but it is much more comfortable than domestic hotels. The hygiene and service are excellent. The location is very good. It is 7 minutes walk from Nara Park and 5 minutes from the subway entrance. A place to eat, drink and play for 5 minutes.
You can play in Nara for a few more days, the deer are very cute
GGuest UserA beautiful and modern hostel. Unfortunately I never met any staff member and also no one cleaned or arranged the beds, while I was there. All the lights remained on, even in the dorm and there’s no possibility to turn them off. The dorm itself was unfortunately also quite cold, while all the other spaces were warm and cozy. Otherwise everything was okay. There was a nice common space. But in general it doesn’t feel very safe and organized, as anyone can just enter the hostel and the dorm without any key or password.
