Hotels near Mount Wakakusa, Nara

The hotel is in an excellent location. You can see the green space opposite the window. You can see deer in the early morning and evening. It is very close to Nara Park and other places such as Kofuku-ji Temple and Todai-ji Temple. Kasuga Taisha Shrine can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. The bathroom and toilet are separated. The bathroom is very large and has a large bathtub. But the toilet flushing in the bathroom needs to be manually pulled with great effort, and there is always an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. I don't know if the hair dryer is broken or the function itself is like this. It stops after blowing for a few seconds and the sound is very loud. The most unsatisfactory thing is the WIFI, which is equivalent to no signal. The signal can't reach a single bar. It can only be connected occasionally, but usually can't be connected. Among the several hotels I stayed in, this one has such a bad WIFI. In this era, I didn't expect that there would be hotels with poor WIFI equipment. Now I have learned a lesson. In the future, I must confirm the WIFI equipment in advance when choosing a hotel. I will never choose a hotel with poor WIFI. It is really torturous that I can't use the network after returning to the hotel.

Grandpa and grandma are very patient and nice. The breakfast is very rich. I also had rabbit apples and heart-shaped fried eggs🍳 Nara is really comfortable! The place where I live is very convenient to go to Nara Park or the city museum. It takes only 17 minutes to walk to Kasuga Taisha Shrine. It's really super happy! Feeding the deer is so happy🥰

Introduction: I went to this hotel on June 27, 2024. They are a brand new hotel ”MIROKU Nara by THE SHARE HOTELS” opened by the Japanese hotel chain brand ”THE SHARE HOTELS”. It is a hotel that focuses on the concept of ”coexistence with nature”. It is located on the pondside south of Nara Park, and you can see the deer in the nearby area up close, as well as the five-story pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple, which is listed as a world cultural heritage and a national treasure of Japan. Some guest rooms can overlook the five-story pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple, Kasugayama, and Wakakusa Mountain. The hotel has a stone garden made of Nara materials such as Yoshino cedar and Asuka stone, forming a space that is like an interweaving of ancient and modern times. The hotel also displays Nara's local design brands and Nara's characteristic elements. The overall space can feel the natural interest of Nara and the design craftsmanship of local craftsmen everywhere. 🔥Accommodation experience: This is the most comfortable hotel in Japan. The scenery outside the window is unique and you can see deer. The room is very large and the suitcase can be opened casually. The hotel has complete facilities, and I like the outdoor space on the first floor! There are two options for breakfast in the hotel, one is Western style and the other is Japanese style, but I don’t know why we were given Western style. I actually wanted to try Japanese style, but it was a pity. Overall, I was quite satisfied and the price/performance ratio was high. Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

Nara Visitor Centre and Inn is charming place located right next to Sarasuwa pond. It is about 7 mins walk from the Kintetsu Nara station. Very near to Kofukuji temple. I stayed from 15-17 June 2023. I felt warmly received by the staff on duty at the inn. Quite a lot of them are Mandarin and English speaking. I really appreciate one of the elderly gentleman’s staff warmth when he took the time to explain to me the attractions around the inn that I can visit, and he speaks Mandarin very well! I also appreciate the other staff’s eagerness to assist when I asked them questions about tours or to recommend places for breakfast. A shoutout also to Yukina, who entertained me when I wanted to do the cosplay and Japanese calligraphy. I also really enjoyed the Japanese dance activity provided during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay here :) I booked a Japanese style room, 8 tatami mats. Spacious for 1. Toiletries provided are sufficient. view from the room showed Kofukuji temple but was blocked by a tree. The only issue I had was that I was given the room at the end of the corridor. I personally preferred not to have a room at end of corridor for personal reasons, but the room was bright, airy and comfortable, and I was happy with it so did not request for a change.

The hotel is very close to Kintetsu Nara Station. It is less than 100 meters walk from Gate 4 to the commercial street. It is also very close to Kofuku-ji Temple. It is about 100 meters away from the east commercial street through the alley. The hotel is very new and clean, but a little small. You can only open the big suitcase in the space where the door is opened after closing the door. There is a small space for hanging clothes and luggage next to the door, and then there is a small toilet and a small double bed. But it is barely acceptable for just one night. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic and can speak English. I arrived at the hotel at 13:00 noon and said that there would be rooms available at 14:00, so I left my luggage and went out to eat something before going back to check in. Nara deer can only be seen in the direction of Kofuku-ji Temple. There are no deer near the hotel.

Room was small probably because of the extra sofa bed but it was very convenient and clean. Great location. Close to Nara park and the station. The restaurant is also very nice.

Location：2 minutes walking distance from the station to the hotel-perfect！The front entrance has a beautifully designed layout. Cleanness: The hotel maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness, and a comfortable and hygienic environment. Service: The front desk's English is excellent, much better than most I've encountered in Tokyo and Osaka. The instructions are clear and well-explained. Facilities: Everything from the room to the dining options was exceptional, making my stay very enjoyable. The Japanese-style room made my stay cozy and relaxing. Overall: I would give 10 out 10 and recommend it to every one.

10 seconds walk from JR Nara Station. It's okay even if it rains. Hotel check-in is on the 3rd floor. The bathhouse on the 6th floor is free. Free drinks on the 3rd floor. Breakfast shows the pride of the hotel. Very delicious.

Room is comfy, super clean. Love their onsen which is decent after long day tour. It’s just few minutes away from the station. Parking slot also available. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. They are really patience to explain us all the details. Thank you for all the travel tips
