Lovely little hotel with a walkable to Nara Park location. The room was small but fine for one person. I appreciated using the hot springs after a long day of walking around. The room was warm and comfortable.

This place was so cute and excellent. Staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate easily enough. Room was Japanese Ryokan style. Tatami mats, low table. It had everything needed, shower and toilet in the room too. There is also an onsen that you can reserve for your private use. I asked for a time later at night and they still had one spot available. If you can't get a time then it is "public use" after 22:00, which seems to mean that you might need to share if others want to join. Location was very good, right in the middle of the historic part of town and a short walk (＜5 min) to Nara park to see the deer. Hotel was very nice and clean. I was here in late December and the air conditioning heater in the room was very good too.

Pleasant stay with my husband, mum and auntie. The place was clean and very near the the shopping street. There is no lift, elderly might have trouble with their heavy luggage. The 2 private onsen bath has to be 'reserved' by taking the timing key chains at the counter.

Charming hotel very close to the park. You get 40 minutes to enjoy the onsen privately. Highly recommended; they have technology for simultaneous translation. So far, it's the best place we've slept. You can also visit the Visitor Center for free activities like origami or writing.

A great hotel with clean facilities and free hot springs. The front desk staff was very friendly and polite. It was a great stay. If I come to Nara again, I will choose this hotel again.

Old Japanese hotel 1 There is no elevator, so people with bad legs and knees have to carry their luggage up the stairs, which are quite steep. 2. The room is old, there is no usd socket, the heater is not hot, and it is always cold no matter how long it is turned on. 3 It is worth mentioning that the water in the shower room is so small that it looks like the spit of a big snake. 4 The lighting was very dim, focusing on the atmosphere, and I even had a ghostly nightmare that night! 5. There are no slippers🩴, flip-flops, just 3 pairs of half-packed PU shoes, one pair for the toilet, and 2 pairs of black PU shoes! More than 600 Hong Kong dollars, I personally think it is not worth it. It is a type of hotel that I would not consider even if it costs 200 Hong Kong dollars. Advantages: Focus on nostalgic atmosphere. By the way, there are free hot spring baths, but they are all done after a few baths, and the water cannot be changed😊

Nara Treasure Inn!! If you like the atmosphere of a Japanese family hotel and don't mind a small room, this one is really suitable for a solo traveler. The room is quieter and cleaner, with tatami mats, small but complete. The bath on the first floor is a private bath reserved by time slot, very hot, so more than 40 minutes of time slot is enough. The front desk brother on duty at night is handsome and ok in English, and is very helpful. For example, he let me take the last minute of the remaining bathroom time slot (it was already ten minutes later when I arrived), take a bath and stroll around the small streets. It is also close to the commercial street (but everything is closed at night), and the surrounding environment and hotel atmosphere are great.

Very good Japanese-style hotel, next to Nara Park, with a small pond and Starbucks at the door. There is also a hot spring for bathing. I ran around the small pond three times at night.

The location is good, not far from the station. The windows are not well shielded from light. It is brighter after turning off the lights at night. The tatami room is very small, and there is not much space to spread out luggage. The bed is a mattress on the tatami, the TV is super small, there is no wardrobe, and clothes are hung on hooks on the wall. There is no elevator in the hotel, so choose carefully if you cannot move your luggage. When I booked the hotel, I was attracted by the private bath and massage, but I didn't notice that the guest room actually has no bathroom facilities, only a toilet and a sink. To reserve a private bath, you can choose a 40-minute private bath time when checking in, and you can use the shower and soak. There is no need to make a reservation in advance for the pool, and it is not possible to make a reservation in advance. If you are traveling with older children, taking a bath together will be inconvenient. The water was very soupy at 8pm. The so-called massage is actually a massage chair, which is very old. One device cannot even move the remote control because the remote control has poor contact. If you move it even a little, the contact will be bad and you can't use it. I won’t choose this hotel next time I stay in Nara.
