Poor management The washing machine started leaking and flooded our unit. The management was very unresponsive and stopped answering my phone calls.

Kahana Villa Resort is an acceptable accommodation. Our one bedroom was quite roomy. However, there was no view from the room. Our patio overlooked a fence with vegetation and the building next-door. In addition, there were maintenance issues with the room, and there were quite a few bugs in the room, including roaches. The resort did have a nice pool and hot tub area. I wasn’t aware of any other amenities. The resort is not oceanfront property. However, it is in close proximity to the ocean. As my wife and I do not spend much time in the room, it was an acceptable stay. However, we probably would not return to this resort.

I recently stayed at Kahana Villa Resort in Lahaina, Hawaii, and my experience was deeply disappointing. As someone with a knee replacement, pacemaker, and other health issues, I made it clear upon check-in that I needed a room with air conditioning and a fan, which was provided. However, things went downhill from there. First, the bed we were given was a queen, even though we had booked a king-size bed. Given my knee replacement, I needed space to elevate and prop up my leg, and the smaller bed made it impossible for my partner and me to sleep together, which was especially frustrating as we are a new couple. This put unnecessary strain on our relationship during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. The worst part was the shower door falling off during our stay, which caused me to cut myself. When I reported this to the front desk, I was only given a Band-Aid and an apology, although maintenance did come to fix it later. The TV didn’t work, and to make matters worse, there were cockroaches in the room. Despite my requests to have the room sprayed, no action was taken. I complained to the front desk three times and asked for a manager to call me four times, but no one ever did. I even reached out to the resort across the street in desperation. I’ve paid maintenance fees for years, and it was disheartening to see the property in such poor condition. The cockroach infestation, broken shower, and lack of response from the management were unacceptable. Given my health issues, the situation was even more distressing. I will be contacting RCI to address these issues, as this level of service is completely unacceptable.

The location is decent. I felt like the proximity to neighboring spots on the west side was good. Walking distance to beach, coffee shop and restaurants which was nice. Minimal amenities at the resort and the resort itself was pretty run down. Our room happened to have a huge bed bug infestation which pretty much killed the energy of our trip and left us covered in bites. They did offer us a new room upon discovery but the whole experience was pretty traumatizing. I would recommend you stay elsewhere based on my experience.

I’ve never experienced a bad visit in any stay in any resort until this one. We were unable to get great customer service. We never saw a hotel staff at this location. We were not told there were stairs in the unit. Both units were dirty and had issues. The furniture and the carpet was very dirty and stained. we booked This resort for five nights and only stayed two due to the conditions and the lack of service. We ended up going to the other side of the island in Kihei where everything was much better and to Our satisfaction. I recommend staying at a World Mark. That’s when you’ll get quality rooms and service.

The furniture was stained and disgusting. We threw sheets over the furniture so we could sit on it. There’s one air conditioner that is located in the wall of the living room. But for the bedroom to get any air, it had to be turned down to 64° with a fan in the hallway, pushing the air towards the bedroom. 64° in the living room was uncomfortable to sit without a blanket wrapped around here. Many times we travel with friends this time we didn’t. I am so happy that I didn’t have someone with us. I would’ve been so embarrassed of this timeshare
