First of all, the location is great, right on Sanjieliangxiang, there are all kinds of shops to visit when you go out, there are a lot of delicious food around, and it is close to the subway station, which makes travel very convenient; secondly, the room is very clean and comfortable, and it is also great to have a small balcony. The housekeeper and the cleaning lady are very attentive. They saw that we washed clothes and took out the clothes drying rack to help us dry them. They also helped us collect the clothes at night. It was really considerate. There were also souvenirs when we left, which was super nice

SShuling HoThis is the best hotel I have ever stayed, you got your money worth every penny. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. The breakfast has variety choices.
The staffs are extremely caring, especially the manager 王学成经理. Mr Wang treated us as his own family. My son got high fever starting the middle night, I called the front desk, he and another front desk lady came to our room and see my son, and suggested to go to see doctor, but my son was too weak to go, then Mr Wang went to find pharmacy which was still open and bought medications for my son, I didnot have RMB cash with me, he paid out of his own pocket. And the next day he came to check on my son multiple times, which made me a lot less worried. Originally we planned to stay for 1 night only, but since he made us feel like home, so stayed an extra night instead. Thank you very much Mr Wang for taking good care of my son during our stay. The staff are the most professional people among all hotels in China I ever stayed. I definitely recommend this hotel to every one.

From the moment I walked in, I felt the warm hospitality and attention to detail that the hosts had put into this place.
First off, the location is superb. Situated on Minzu Avenue, this apartment is not only convenient but also offers easy access to many of the city’s main attractions and amenities. Whether you’re looking to explore local restaurants, hit up shopping districts, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, you’ll find it all within close proximity. The convenience alone made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free.
Upon entering the apartment, I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hosts clearly take pride in ensuring the space is spotless and inviting. The decor is modern yet warm, with touches of local flair that give it a unique charm. The furniture is both stylish and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. My room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed, which ensured I had restful sleep every night.
One of the highlights was the attention to detail in the amenities provided. From high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like bottled water, toiletries, and even some local snacks, it was evident that the hosts went out of their way to make guests feel at home. The kitchen area was well-stocked with basic utensils, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. This was a huge plus for me, as it offered a sense of flexibility and added comfort.
The staff were another big highlight of my stay. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Communication was smooth, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even offering recommendations for local spots to visit and eat. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that truly elevated my stay. I genuinely felt like they cared about my experience, which is a rare find these days.
The atmosphere in and around the property was also quite serene, despite its central location. Noise was never an issue, allowing for a peaceful and uninterrupted night’s sleep. Security is clearly a priority as well, with secure access points throughout the building, so I always felt safe and at ease during my stay.
Overall, my experience at 房东老于头公寓 (民族大道分店) exceeded all expectations. It provided a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warmth, making it an ideal choice for anyone visiting the area. TtankharrisThis is obviously a very nice hotel and I would recommend and would stay here again. Luxury is very obvious all over this hotel, and it is frankly very cheap for what it is.
The moment we came in, bellhops insisted to carry our bags up to the 80th floor lobby. They were always opening doors for us and very helpful with our bags, 24/7. Once we arrived, we were welcomed in and sat down at an individual desk for check in. There, we were served some excellent tea.
The hotel purser came over and welcomed us in. My girlfriend is Chinese and spoke to the staff in Chinese, but the purser switched up to English to welcome me to the hotel, which is a nice detail. Most Chinese hotel staff consistently avoid putting in the effort to speak English to me.
The hard product is amazing and is matched well with great service. Staff were always attentive and welcoming in both Chinese and English, always saying hello and checking in.
The cons:
This hotel, just like most Marriott hotels, is trying to nickel and dime you, which doesn’t make a lot of sense at this price point. In some ways it isn’t, such as an included mini-bar (all non-alcoholic), but for example it doesn’t have a laundry service, while basically any 3-5 star hotel in China would have included laundry. Also, there is a car transfer service, but it’s so absurdly priced for no particular reason. 400 rmb+ for basic transfers where as a Didi would be 10 rmb. Similar luxury properties such as the Ritz-Carlton has these amenities included.
The restaurants were nice. We only tried Na Lian, which despite being an in-house guest and being told that they could get reservations for us, we basically were treated like walk-in’s despite being told we had reservations (and we were unable to get a window seat). The bar was also nice and we enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bar manager waited for us to arrive, but the bar consistently had spend limits for any table or reservation, which additionally just seemed silly, considering we were already staying in a booked deluxe room. The drinks and lamb were very good. The menu was a little outdated, and illustrated wine by the glass, but we were then told that the menu is wrong and they don’t do that.
Also, there was strangely a lack of extra towels and bins in the room. I found myself walking into the bathroom many times to throw away trash.
This is a good hotel and I plan to be back again, but it can definitely improve. Too much nickel and diming. Good service and good products inspire people to come back, which is worth much more than selling one bottle of shampoo and pushing a customer to never return again.

NNguyetDTMThe location is easy to find, the front desk Xiaoli is considerate and hospitable, the hotel is equipped with a 24-hour gym, the laundry room is very convenient with LG industrial washing & drying machines. The guest room equipment is also very new and clean. Intelligent equipments like Xiaodua, automatic curtain and night lamp are plus points. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very good. Staffs of the hotel are very supportive and nice. Though, they can not speak English, we still communicate well via Google translate. There is a very very good restaurant near to the hotel (you can see in the restaurant bill attached, just 900m far from the hotel). We also can reach Nanning Renmin Park by foot (i.e 25-30 mins).

MMelbiesReally great hotel experience for us. After traveling for a month this was our last stop. We asked for a quiet room hoping we could finally have some peace and quiet. But this time of year there will be so many families with small children running and jumping around the rooms. The lady told us “we’ll give you a room no one likes.” Hahaha! But unfortunately we were still surrounded by loud families. Anyways the hotel lobby is very big and beautiful. The service was excellent. The doorman helped take our luggage up to the room. The room was very large and spacious. Huge bathroom with with separated toilet, sink/mirror, bathtub, and shower. The view was boring but we told the lady we didn’t care about the view. The bed was nice and soft, very comfortable. WiFi worked well. Water pressure for the bathtub and shower was great! Best water pressure I’ve experienced in 10 years of being in China. The bed is not facing the direction of the tv which usually bothers me as I like to watch tv/movies while lying in bed. But the tv in our room was set up to extend outwards and then towards our bed. That was really awesome as I have never seen any hotel do that before. Really great they did that 👍🏼👍🏼 our cleaning ladies did a great job everyday, they noticed we always drank the free waters and gave us a couple extras. So many small details helped us really enjoy our stay here. The location is also good. About 5-7 minute walk to the metro station. Cross the street via the metro station and there is a very large IMAX cinema and several shopping malls with lots of great food and entertainment options. The MIXC mall is about a 15 minute walk away. Great hotel, great service! Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nanning. Thank you!

GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. I was particularly impressed by the young man and woman at the front desk yesterday; they were so charming and pleasant. If I needed anything, they said I just had to ask, and it would be sent right up to my room. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. My favorite was the coffee, and the *youtiao* (Chinese fried dough sticks) were exceptionally delicious, cut into small, bite-sized pieces, making them very easy to eat. The location was also very convenient. It truly felt like a home away from home!

WWan SuwanThe location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building.
The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom.
Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent.
In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

Their breakfast was highly recommended; it was self-service, with a wide variety of options, and was nutritious and delicious. It was clean, and even the most tidy areas were spotlessly clean. There's a subway station just 50 meters from the hotel, making it very convenient to get around. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, answering every question. The housekeeping staff were also very helpful, and items were delivered promptly. They also had a free gym, which was a big plus!
