The room is in the basement, with only lights and no sunlight. The room was constantly noisy when fresh air was supplied, which disturbed my sleep. Cars passing by on the roof also rumbled. Facilities and health services are available.

This is my first time staying at this hotel at Nanning East Railway Station. It is right at the train station, and you can take the elevator to the entrance. The restaurant is just a short walk from the room door, so it is convenient to eat. However, I feel that the hygiene of the room door is poor, and I always feel that the smell is not good.

The location is right inside the Nanning East High-speed Railway Station, which is very convenient for us who are in a hurry, and the price is also very cost-effective. The room is also very large, and there is no musty smell because it is underground. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, with an independent sink, and the TV can also be projected. The sound of the subway passing by can be heard in the room, and it does not end until 12 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, our sleep quality is good and it is not affected much. It's not easy to find this hotel, but once you do, it's a great place to stay. It's very convenient for the train and subway stations. The rooms are immaculate, the bed and pillows are comfortable by Western standards, the showers are terrific, there's a fancy lighting and sound system in each room, and overall it's just a nice hotel. Plus the staff is friendly and helpful. It was my first day in China, and everything was complicated by not having the mobile payment apps set up yet. The front desk staff guided me through the hassle, and made a tough situation much easier.

We went to Beihai during the Qingming holiday. We arrived at the station in the early morning. The hotel was very close to 10 minutes walk. The surrounding area was safe; the waiter was warm, the attitude was good, and the check-in was very fast; The hotel room is clean, it is to sleep for one night, even the windowless room is not bad, the air conditioner can be cool when the room is opened, there is no smell; when you wake up, it is very convenient to catch the early bus to Beihai; it is worth transiting.
Walking navigation in the past needs to pay attention. Although there are prompts along the roadside, the hotel door is not in the eye-catching position on the front. You need to walk boldly to the lobby of the building. The reception desk is in the lobby of the building. You can see it when you walk to the lobby.

I was at the hotel over the May holidays. The location is super close to the train station and has a lot of food eateries and convenience stores around if needed. The staff was super helpful and despite the language barrier, went above and beyond to accommodate for all needs. I would like to mention Andy from the front desk who went above and beyond to help me book day trips at the very last minute and made sure we got breakfasts ready for early morning. He even made sure we are well taken care of during our entire stay and made sure we made it back to Shanghai okay. He definitely made a very good impression and I would love to go back for a visit to Nanning and stay again at the Hamptons. Thanks Andy and the entire staff of Hamptons for making the stay so memorable and comforable. :)

GGuest UserA very satisfying experience. Although it is called ”Phoenix Hotel”, it is actually a local old hotel. It is next to the train station and is very convenient for taking the airport bus, train, high-speed rail and subway. This time I was upgraded to a new building, which is spacious and bright. The double beds are 1.35m long, which is larger than the double beds in some small hotels. It is very comfortable no matter how you roll around. Snacks and drinks are also provided. The hotel's breakfast is also very regional, with several local snacks. Suitable for business trips and friends traveling

HHo FongMy sister & I chose to stay here for five nights because of its location (close to IKEA shopping mall & its close proximity to the metro) as well as its competitive pricing.
There are many pros about this hotel:
- superb service (very responsive, helpful & polite staff) - the room is quiet, clean & spacious
- there is also a laundry room with one washing machine & one dryer as well as an steam iron; washing detergent is provided as well, which is a bonus.
- although only two bottles of drinking water is provided FOC every day, we managed to get an extra four bottles when we made the request at the front desk
The cons, which I hope can be improved on are:
- the wifi: we weren’t able to use it the whole time we stayed here, which, I think is the biggest flaw of the hotel
- there’s only one washing machine & one dryer. For a hotel this size, it’s reasonable to provide at least two of each.
Will I consider staying here again and/or recommend it to my friends & relatives? The answer is a definite YES but I hope that management will address the above issues mentioned above as soon as possible.

First off, the location is superb. Situated on Minzu Avenue, this apartment is not only convenient but also offers easy access to many of the city’s main attractions and amenities. Whether you’re looking to explore local restaurants, hit up shopping districts, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, you’ll find it all within close proximity. The convenience alone made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free.
Upon entering the apartment, I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hosts clearly take pride in ensuring the space is spotless and inviting. The decor is modern yet warm, with touches of local flair that give it a unique charm. The furniture is both stylish and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. My room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed, which ensured I had restful sleep every night.
One of the highlights was the attention to detail in the amenities provided. From high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like bottled water, toiletries, and even some local snacks, it was evident that the hosts went out of their way to make guests feel at home. The kitchen area was well-stocked with basic utensils, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. This was a huge plus for me, as it offered a sense of flexibility and added comfort.
The staff were another big highlight of my stay. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Communication was smooth, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, even offering recommendations for local spots to visit and eat. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that truly elevated my stay. I genuinely felt like they cared about my experience, which is a rare find these days.

NNguyetDTMThe location is easy to find, the front desk Xiaoli is considerate and hospitable, the hotel is equipped with a 24-hour gym, the laundry room is very convenient with LG industrial washing & drying machines. The guest room equipment is also very new and clean. Intelligent equipments like Xiaodua, automatic curtain and night lamp are plus points. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very good. Staffs of the hotel are very supportive and nice. Though, they can not speak English, we still communicate well via Google translate. There is a very very good restaurant near to the hotel (you can see in the restaurant bill attached, just 900m far from the hotel). We also can reach Nanning Renmin Park by foot (i.e 25-30 mins).

The cleaning lady was very nice, she put 4 bottles of mineral water in the room, and folded the pajamas and put them on the bed. The restaurant staff also did a good job, and the breakfast was very rich.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Yeste International Hotel (Chaoyang Square District Government) for five nights in mid November. Here's the pros and cons:
Pros: 1) Good location. Within about 5 - 10 minutes walk, you will find yourself in the heart of one of Nanning's busiest shopping and dining district. 2) Good buns and vegetable dishes at breakfast. (If you'd like a piece of toast, however, there's no jam or butter. No cereals either. This is odd considering that the hotel markets itself as ”international”.)
Cons: 1) The Yeste we stayed at promoted itself as ”opened in 2019” but this is misleading! It had been operated as some other hotels before the Yeste brand ”opened” the property as its own. The rooms may have been renovated but many details are clearly worn out from yellow caulking, slow drainage, to moldy cracks. The bathrooms are excruciatingly small. You can't access the full countertop without cramming your legs against the toilet bowl. (We stayed at the ”super” room. Looking back at the online photos posted by the hotel, we couldn't believe that's actually the room we'd stayed at. The fisheye effect used in taking those photos are misleading.)
2) The property allows smoking in some areas. Even if you booked a ”non-smoking” room, chances are that you will ”enjoy” second-hand smoking in the elevator, hallways, even in your own room.
3) Security is non-existent. There is a lobby at the front, but through a side door, which is open 24/7, anyone and everyone can come and go at will. The hotel shares the building with other tenants (businesses). From food delivery, other tenants in the building, to patrons of different businesses, the entire building is an open book. With the push of a button, anyone can access your hotel floors anytime of the day.
Overall, if you are looking for a budget hotel to stay in the city, this property is okay. If you expect quality, security, or services, this is not the place to be.

AAnonymous User1. When checking in for the first time, the front desk did not synchronize the room card with the executive corridor service, which resulted in not being able to reach the 17th floor. I went downstairs to the front desk to get a room card again. The front desk service was not detailed enough. 2. The landline in the room did not clearly inform how to use the phone to call the front desk. Some lights were faulty. The spotlight on the top of the bed in the room could not be turned off. Either the main power was turned off, or only the spotlight could not be turned off. 3. The room at the end of the corridor was facing the corridor, which was dim. The robot came to the door for service in the middle of the night, which was extremely scary. The robot's eye screen was bright, and the corridor behind it was dim. It was really a bit scary. 4. The breakfast buffet environment and service were average, and there were few service staff. 5. Finally, I would like to praise the cleaning lady and the little brother at the door for being proactive and friendly.

XXuelifangfeiI forgot to take pictures of the room. The location is very good, very close to Qingxiu Mountain. I made an appoin**ent with friends to stay in Qingxiu Mountain. The air is good and the scenery is beautiful. Next time I come to Nanning, I will choose to stay at Sunshine International. It's convenient!

GGuest UserThe room hygiene is definitely not as good as chain hotels, but the attitude of the front desk is very good.
When I returned to Nanning that night, the suitcases had to be unpacked and checked. I waited in line for a long time, and the luggage was very heavy. It was already two or three in the morning when I arrived at the hotel. The landlord was very nice and extended my check-out time to 2:00 the next day. There was also a puppy sleeping at the front desk, which was super cute.
It is absolutely no problem to make do with one night. The bedding in the room is also very soft and comfortable, and the area is also large.
There are two small suggestions. One is that if someone smokes in the room, there is a tobacco smell as soon as you enter the room. It is recommended to clean the ashtray carefully; the second is to prepare a bottle or two of the hotel's ** mineral water. I was really thirsty when I went upstairs, but I didn't feel good without water to drink.
