Additionally the front desk didn't ask for our preference when we were checking in. We only noticed the stench after we had settled in and were ready to sleep. The room is also equipped with a soundproofing door but we were still woken up by loud noises from the hallway and the room above. Besides these issues the room was generally spacious and bedding was comfortable.
