A hidden gem hotel for your Nanjing Confucius Temple trip – the experience was absolutely amazing! One of the luckiest things about traveling to Nanjing is choosing the right place to stay – this hotel tucked away near the Confucius Temple offered delightful surprises from check-in to check-out, a definite plus for any trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Nanjing! The hotel's location is simply incredible! It's just a 3-minute walk to the entrance of the Confucius Temple scenic area. After enjoying the Qinhuai River night view and lantern festival in the evening, you can easily walk back to the hotel without having to take a taxi or go through detours – both safety and convenience are top-notch. Transportation is also incredibly convenient; the subway station is about a 6-minute walk away, making it easy to reach attractions like Laomendong, the Presidential Palace, and the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. There are also convenience stores, breakfast stalls, and Nanjing specialty snack shops downstairs. Start your day with some duck blood soup or xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and start your day with a burst of energy. The check-in experience was also incredibly heartwarming. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient in processing our paperwork. They patiently recommended routes around Confucius Temple, suggested spots to avoid the crowds, and even suggested the best time for a night cruise on the Qinhuai River – so thoughtful! Stepping into the room, we were immediately pleasantly surprised: the room was spotless and tidy, completely odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were the perfect height – a perfect way to relax after a long day. The facilities were also excellent: the air conditioning heated quickly and reliably, hot water was readily available with ample pressure, the bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry area, and the mirror even had a built-in light – perfect for women! The TV picture was clear, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong, making watching videos and working effortless. The room also provided complimentary bottled water, clothes hangers, and a hairdryer. Even the disposable toiletries were of high quality – the toothbrush was soft and gentle, and the shampoo and shower gel had a pleasant fragrance. The hotel's soundproofing exceeded our expectations; despite being near a tourist area, the room was exceptionally quiet, allowing us to sleep soundly without any outside noise disturbance. Check-out was equally smooth and efficient. The staff even proactively inquired about our stay and thoughtfully reminded us to be careful on our return journey. Overall, the hotel was impeccable in terms of location, room facilities, service details, and value for money – truly a hidden gem near Confucius Temple! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nanjing, and I highly recommend it to everyone traveling to Nanjing!

It's a good place to stay for a short trip in NanJing. Location is good, .close to everything and only few minutes walk to the metro. The room is good and clean. The only complaint I have is the room service. It's not done daily as expected. When I asked about it and were told that the hotel did not have enough people to do it on time and everyday for all the rooms. It was a bit awkward when we came back after a day out and could not have a shower. Thank you

The room offers a bright and clear view of the Qinhuai River right downstairs, which met my expectations. However, the soundproofing was a major issue; I was woken up at 6 AM by neighbors talking. The air conditioner also needs cleaning, as it blew out a musty smell. I've attached a real photo of the beautiful view from the window.

This is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. I was disappointed at the entrance of the lobby downstairs. A narrow passage, the lights were dim and old, but I went up to the fifth floor. The elevator opened and the eyes were bright, bright and clean. The room was like this. The most intimate thing is that there are two soft and hard pillows and the mattress is very comfortable. Downstairs outside the window is the pedestrian street, which is very lively every day, but the sound insulation is very good, and the sound outside can't be heard at all. A bit far from the subway station, the location is at the end of Gongyuan Street, you have to walk Gongyuan Street and walk 100 meters to the subway station. The Qinhuai River cruise ship terminal is nearby, and Zhanyuan takes about 10 minutes to walk. There is Liu Changxing near Zhanyuan, who likes to eat its sesame cakes and leek bags. I came to Nanjing for five days and four nights, booked three nights here, one night at the Republic of China B&B, and finally changed to stay here for four nights.
