The location is very convenient, right outside Exit 1 of Xiaoshi MRT Station. There's also a convenient convenience store nearby.
Service: Check-in was a little tedious; the room wasn't ready and I had to wait 40 minutes. However, the front desk provided water while I waited in the bar area and extended my check-out to 2 PM, which was very thoughtful! Luggage was brought to the room upon check-in, and takeout can be ordered, which the staff will deliver to your door.
Amenities: Although it's a B&B, the room is fully equipped with drinking water, a kettle, a smart toilet, and full-room lighting controls, making it a breeze!
Cleanliness: I'm a bit picky here. I noticed a small flying insect on the bed when I checked in, so I contacted the front desk and had them replace the entire bedding set. They even patiently made up the four-piece disposable set I brought. Everything else was spotless and very clean!

This is a very cost-effective hotel. The hotel opened not long ago, so the items are very new, the environment is clean and tidy, the staff is very enthusiastic, the service is thoughtful, and I was given 2 days of breakfast. The breakfast variety is not much, but it is clean and hygienic, and the taste is OK. The most important thing is that the hotel is in a good location. It is not in the city center, but the transportation is convenient. There is a bus stop right outside the door, and it is also convenient to take the subway. It is very close to Hongshan Zoo and Zhongshan Scenic Area (including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Meiling Palace, Music Stage, etc.). The transportation is very convenient and not too far. It is even closer to Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Lake. In short, the geographical location is very good. There are shopping malls around a short distance, and shopping is also very convenient. The hotels in Nanjing have increased their prices a lot during the May Day holiday. This one is not expensive because it is newly opened, and the cost-effectiveness is super high!

A bit too much noise through the walls in the evening and early morning - I believe this was from doors being shut that need slow closing mechanisms to prevent the slamming. GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

CChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

Hygiene: The overall feeling of the indoor area is good, and the outdoor area is relatively primitive and needs to be improved.

I went to Kuanzhai Bar at night, and it felt like Nanjing Pattaya, very comfortable; I ran a circle of less than four kilometers in the park during the day, and it was an oxygen bar in nature, and I lingered; you can walk, ride, and play in the park, and there are many projects...

DDidiaoThe service needs to be improved. Before entering the room, mineral water and slippers were placed on the floor at the door, and you had to pick them up yourself. To be honest, I have never seen such a thing in any hotel I have stayed in. Also, the night light in the room I stayed in occasionally flickered, probably because it was broken. Other aspects were ok, the room decoration style was good, and the decoration was quite new.

The room itself was clean and spacious, boasting a great view from the window. Staff were incredibly quick to deliver anything we needed to the room, which was much appreciated. The hotel's location in Xinjiekou city center is fantastic, surrounded by various shopping malls and delicious eateries. CChenyuaneryi。For my trip to Nanjing, I specifically chose this Atour Hotel. I inquired about a room upgrade, and the front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a river view room. It was truly fantastic; I had a direct view of the Qinhuai River right from my room! Ever since checking in, I found myself constantly peeking out the window to people-watch, haha! The surrounding area is also incredibly convenient for sightseeing, with the Imperial Examination Museum, Jiangnan Gongyuan, and Nanjing Impressions (a famous local restaurant) all within about 200 meters. What a great spot! This stay was definitely worth every penny! The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly; once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. For breakfast, I highly recommend trying the Duck Blood Vermicelli Soup, Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and rice cakes... (And if you're in a rush, you can even grab items to go! I took a coffee with me, haha!)

GGrace CallejaMy 82 year old mom, sister and myself booked a 2BR suite at this place for 3nights and 4 days. We were in Nanjing for a leisurely vacation from the Philippines. The place is very unassuming. A modest entrance and lobby but the room, beddings, towels, bathrobes, toiletries and even slippers were top-notch!. Loved the scent of their shampoo and body wash. The suite itself and the rooms were very spacious. Even the toilets are spacious! My mom even chided that it was tiring to walk from one room to the other! The rooms and toilets were equipped with automatic curtains and blinds. Although most of the staff could barely speak any English, everyone was very kind, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet that is packaged with the room stay was also superb! So many choices despite few guests. It was mostly a spread of Chinese dishes but I couldn't ask for more! There is a free laundry room in the building! There is a small convenience store and a Luckin Coffee at the ground floor of the building. It is also very easy to get a taxi just outside the building. Added Bonus: this place is just a few steps away from the famous Librairie Avant-Garde (the IG worthy bookstore). Overall, I love Suning Universal Hotel All-Suites! I highly recommend it to all travelers who plan to visit Nanjing. Attached photo is taken from the ground floor of the hotel.

Seeing it was newly renovated and reasonably priced, it seemed like a good fit. I booked and arrived at the hotel. Check-in was quick, the service was friendly and attentive, the room was clean, and nearby restaurants were convenient! It's a great place to stay for business trips, and the hotel room manager is incredibly helpful! I've recommended it to friends, and the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.
