Hotels in Confucius Temple/Qinhuai River Scenic Area, Nanjing

After researching many hotels for our 3-day, 2-night road trip to Nanjing, we settled on Shuishanglou Hotel. The owner was incredibly friendly, and free parking is available right at the entrance. Our room was excellent, and a nice bonus was the TV's premium membership, allowing us to watch movies for free. The hotel's location is also excellent; Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is just a short walk away, and there are convenient bus stops nearby offering direct routes to the Presidential Palace and Xuanwu Lake. Overall, we had a fantastic stay! Highly recommended. 😍😍😍

Perfect location, taxi can be dropped off right in front of the hotel, and across the street from the hotel is the famous laomendong area, where you can find the amazing nanjing impression restaurant, this one is the more impressive looking space than other branches. Professional, well organised, rooms are cleaned and tidied, water, tea, and toiletries replenished every day. Plenty common areas to use, convenient, great value for money.

Choosing this hotel was a very smart decision for this trip. The room environment is excellent, clean and hygienic. The bed and pillows are soft and comfortable; they even offer both memory foam and buckwheat pillows. Front desk staffer Xiao Yang provided great service, and I'm very satisfied with the room she arranged for me.

This is my fifth night staying here, and I can honestly say if you're coming to Nanjing, you won't regret choosing this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. What's most memorable is the service – it's absolutely exceptional, truly outstanding! There's also a free washing machine, which is convenient for doing laundry and drying clothes. The location is also ideal, making it easy to get to Fuzimiao and Laodongmen. Catching a Didi (ride-share) is also a breeze; you just walk a few steps out the door and you're good to go. Seriously, there's really nothing to fault here.

If you're visiting Nanjing, you absolutely *must* experience a stay in the Yihe Yaju King Room at Qin Huai Ren Jia! This place perfectly blends the ancient charm of Jiangnan into every corner of the room: the walls are adorned with evocative ink wash paintings, delicate bamboo woven decorations grace the corners, and the solid wood floors feel silent underfoot, exuding a serene elegance. The antique-style lamp by the bed casts a warm glow, illuminating the carved bed frame and the plain-colored bed canopy, instantly melting away the fatigue of your travels. The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from attractions like Fuzimiao and Laomendong. You can spend your day exploring Nanjing's historical sites and then return to your antique-styled room for a restful evening. It's quiet, stylish, incredibly comfortable, and definitely my top recommendation for accommodation in Nanjing!

The room is very clean. The service attitude is also very good. The mattress is soft. There are free drinks in the room. You can also taste desserts and cocktails for free. The overall environment is very good. I am very satisfied. I will choose this hotel next time

We capped off our summer vacation, which coincided with the 80th anniversary of the Anti-Japanese War victory, with a visit to Nanjing right before the holidays wrapped up. We stayed at a hotel that's quite the influencer hotspot, and the check-in experience was fantastic. My son was absolutely delighted with the Ultraman-themed room. Steven was exceptionally detailed and helpful in his communication and coordination. The check-out arrangements were also very accommodating and flexible, ensuring a completely hassle-free stay.

For my trip to Nanjing, I chose the Jinling Zhuangyuan Building Hotel. Its location is excellent, being very close to the subway station and Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple). Commercial complexes like Shuiyocheng are right across the street, making dining very convenient. Although we had booked a standard twin room, the front desk kindly upgraded us to a Zhuangyuan-themed twin room. The room had a charming, classic aesthetic, was very spacious, and impeccably clean. They even delivered milk daily, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. On the day of check-out, our travel plans unexpectedly changed, requiring a later departure. After explaining our situation to the front desk, they proactively extended our room key access until 5 PM. When checking out, they even gave us thoughtful small gifts: a fridge magnet and a mini Zhuangyuan-themed fan. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. Highly recommended! 👍

Nanjing Yumi Hotel: The Top Choice for City Exploration, Absolutely Comfortable! Choosing the right hotel is crucial when visiting Nanjing, and Yumi Hotel hit all the right notes for me! The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. Taxis are always readily available, and it's super convenient to take the subway. Whether you're heading to tourist spots or shopping areas, there's no need for detours, making traveling with luggage a breeze. The most pleasant surprise was discovering several snack streets hidden nearby. After a day of exploring, I could easily grab some duck blood and vermicelli soup or plum blossom cake on my way back – a foodie's paradise! The moment I stepped into the room, I was completely impressed. The facilities are brand new, and the room was spotlessly clean, even the corners were immaculate, which made me feel very at ease. The bedding was a major plus; the duvet was just the right thickness for Nanjing's climate, light and airy, and the pillows had the perfect balance of softness and support. After a day of travel, I could simply lie down and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Upon check-in, I also received fresh welcome fruit and a complimentary Cotti Coffee. The mini-fridge in the room was stocked with free water and sugar-free Coke. These thoughtful details instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It's perfect for both tourists and short-term travelers. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Nanjing!

The environment here is lovely! The rooms are spotlessly clean and completely odor-free. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. A delightful bonus is the kittens downstairs you can pet. Directly opposite, you'll find the hotel's own restaurant, which serves pretty good food. And for those who enjoy a quiet moment, there's a charming little bookstore right across the street where you can relax with a book.
