Hotels in Xinjiekou Area/Presidential Palace, Nanjing

I recently stayed at this hotel, which just opened in September 2024, and I was thoroughly impressed. Everything is brand new and fresh, living up to the standard Ascott style of elegance and comfort. The location is absolutely perfect for my needs, making it incredibly convenient for both work and leisure. On top of that, the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The modern design, pristine facilities, and warm service make this a top choice.

Nice hotel near busy LaoSingMen area; was assigned a room in B1 level with a small window that does not have much light or see anything outside as this is a basement level in a hotel with center court (天井？）； our towels were changed daily, but, there was no cleaning done on a daily basis; bathroom’s sink was clogged with lots of hair inside; we managed to clean up the clogging sink ourselves when we learned this the first night. Hotel is not too far from public bus station, but it is pretty far from the metro station (more than 15 minutes of walking distance); it’s not likely that we will book this place when we visit Nanjing next time.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Its location is incredibly convenient, making traveling around the area a breeze. One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking view of both the lake and the mountains. The staff were exceptionally friendly. And, most importantly, the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The hotel location was close to Xinjiekou and between 2 Metro stations. Joyce helped us check in and was very helpful during our stay and tried to make our stay as pleasant as can be. She even helped move us to a room with a street view as our original room faced another building. Some improvements can be made by the hotel management: 1. Lobby can be made more attractive. It's outdated and not really welcoming. 2. The food display had barely anything displayed. There was even a plant that needed watering. 3. I found the coffee machine needing some TLC and the water dispenser nearby. 4. The chef can be more pleasant. 5. The space outside the hotel can be cleaned up, the planter boxes are in disarray and even have withered plants. Even the chairs and tables outside can do some TLC. 6. The cleaning lady accidentally took our small pillow even on the first day she properly placed it on the bed after fixing our bed. The good thing is that the bedsheets were still waiting to be picked up, and they were able to recover the pillow. If it were not for the warmth of the rest of the hotel staff, it would be hard to recommend staying here. I hope Hyatt Management does more to take care of the hotel property because your staff can only do so much. We booked this hotel because of the high rating, and we were disappointed, to say the least.

My only one hotel in Nanjing, best of the best. The room is spacious, clean, beautiful view and luxurious. Great location in the centre of city.

The hotel was perfect for my one night stay. The breakfast was nice and the room was very clean. The staff are very very friendly and accommodating. Really recommend this hotel!

The exceptional front desk service provided by Ms. Xiao Chen 前台小陈 and her reception team for their warm hospitality and dedication to ensuring our comfort is highly commendable. Their commitment to excellence set a high standard for our entire stay. The unexpected upgrade from a Sunshine Superior Room to a Deluxe Suite was a delightful surprise that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail shown by housekeepers such as Ms. Langxia 客房服务员郎霞 and Ms. Hengli 客房服务员恒丽 was truly remarkable. Their thoughtful touches, such as greeting notes, cookies, milk, flowers, and fruits arranged with care, made us feel valued and appreciated. Our experience at Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel was exceptional, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. A big Thank You to the hotel for providing such a welcoming and memorable environment for us!

Atour hotel is located in Fuzimiao walking street. It is within 5 mins walk from subway and surrounded by restaurants. The hotel has provided services that I have not experienced before. For example, I placed my clothings into the common washing machine to wash. I went out to have my lunch and I was so surprised that when I returned to the hotel two hours later, the clothings were dried and folded and neatly placed at my room door. I was prepared to go to the laundry room to retrieve my clothings from the washing machine and transfer them to the dryer. The hotel is also offering simple supper at no cost.

My first day wasn't very pleasant. However, when the hotel customer service knew that I wasn't entirely satisfied with my stay, they tried to understand the situation and tried their very best to redeem themselves and fulfill my needs.

Such a beautiful hotel. Close to the metro stop and bus stops so transportation is always available. Checkin was quick and having a staff at the front desk speak English was an added bonus. The breakfast options were abundant and delicious. I will definitely stay here again.
