Hotels in Xinjiekou Area/Presidential Palace, Nanjing

The hotel is in a great location, short walk to train station. Room is dated but still clean and comfortable. Noted that they have started doing renovation on certain floors The room facilities & toiletries are good, especially the powerful Laifen hairdryer😍 which is lacking in other hotels. Free minibar too!😍 Front desk staff are warm & helpful. Special thanks to Tan Liang who helped to us with Didi Taxi booking and asked the doorman to tell the driver to drop us at the specific entrance at the Railway Station.

Awesome location and extraordinary services!! Especially when we need to change the room from our first booking to second booking (with different family members so we have 3 different bookings), REN JUN DANIEL provided extraordinary services!! This hotel is the first Hilton (changed to Grand Metro now) in Nanjing, 10 minute from Zhong Shan Landmarks, close to every where. Although not brand new, but the services and location make up every thing. Buffet breakfast has all kinds of different style gourmet, and changing every day. Beautiful view from the window!

Great location just nearby Xinjiekou metro station.lots of shopping and eateries around. The buffet with oysters just opposite the hotel is a must try. Room are adequate and comfortable.

The hotel facade may look old but it had been a very warm welcome by the staff and was a pleasant stay for us. The rooms were true to the pictures posted on Trip.com. Big thanks to Lobby Manager Deng Juan 邓娟 who was very attentive and helpful. Knowing that we didn't have a local number, she added me in WeChat so I may contact her if we need any assistance. She also helped coordinate with the kitchen for a slightly early breakfast when we had to check-out by 7am, which we really appreciated. Also, the housekeeper in-charge of our rooms ensured that we had sufficient bottled water during our stay. The hotel is also very close to shopping malls and many food options. I'm very glad to have chosen this hotel for our trip to Nanjing.

Thank you Location : near xinjiekou line 2 but you have to walked for 15-20 mins, the nearest one is line 3 tianfuyuan walked for 8-10 mins Cleanliness & amenities : pretty clean, smart toilet, smart yifeiyifei🤩 Overall staying 3 nights here is pretty nice.

The hotel looks new and located next to Xuanwu lake in a quiet but convenient location. Among several Ascott hotels I have stayed, this is the worst regarding to its service. The guy at the front desk lacks a professional attitude. The information he provided was wrong and he was corrected right on site by a lady next to him. So embarrassing! I booked three rooms and they were assigned far apart. I made three calls to the front desk, two were not answered by anyone during day time. The one got picked up provided me with wrong information about the pool hrs. I went to the swimming pool only to find out it’s closed. I went straight to the front desk and was told that oh they forgot the pool is closed on Monday. I should have been told so over the phone. They’ve got to provide more trainings to their staffs before open for business. Ascott in Nanjing needs improvement!

This genuinely thoughtful approach truly made me feel warm and valued. Whether I asked about nearby attractions, restaurant recommendations, or how to use the hotel facilities, the front desk staff provided patient, detailed, and professional answers, providing a tremendous convenience. The biggest surprise was the custom-made room card! It was beyond my wildest dreams! The moment I received it, I was completely blown away! The card was beautifully designed, with playful and playful cartoon characters, full of playful creativity and playfulness—nothing ordinary, perfunctory touch. This is definitely what sets MGallery Nanjing apart from other hotels! This custom-made card is more than just a door opener; it's a truly memorable gift! Upon check-out, I was told I could take it home as a keepsake, which was fantastic! It has become one of the most special souvenirs of my trip to Nanjing. The exceptional front desk service provided by Ms. Xiao Chen 前台小陈 and her reception team for their warm hospitality and dedication to ensuring our comfort is highly commendable. Their commitment to excellence set a high standard for our entire stay. The unexpected upgrade from a Sunshine Superior Room to a Deluxe Suite was a delightful surprise that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail shown by housekeepers such as Ms. Langxia 客房服务员郎霞 and Ms. Hengli 客房服务员恒丽 was truly remarkable. Their thoughtful touches, such as greeting notes, cookies, milk, flowers, and fruits arranged with care, made us feel valued and appreciated. Our experience at Jinfan Wanyuan Hotel was exceptional, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit. A big Thank You to the hotel for providing such a welcoming and memorable environment for us!

The final stop of the Nanjing Hotel Check-in is Nanjing Ritz-Carlton. Nanjing Ritz is worthy of the ceiling of the mainland Ritz, with the top city view of Nanjing, overlooking Xinjiekou and Xuanwu Lake, which is breathtaking. The indoor hotel public area is extremely luxurious, and the interior design and decoration of the room are also very exquisite. The mini bar can be opened as a small wine cabinet and is equipped with the drinking method of each wine. The hotel swimming pool is not big but has a sense of vacation. The steam room can enjoy the outdoor scenery. It is quite good. This time I stayed in the executive lounge. Although the five meals are simple meals, they are of high quality. If you haven't tried afternoon tea, I highly recommend it. The breakfast environment is unique, but the variety provided is limited. Chinese and Western food are not deeply cultivated. It can be used as a simple meal in the morning. Compared with the hardware, what surprised me most was its service. The appearance of the hotel is always beyond the mountain, and there is no need to pursue it too much, but service is the soul of a hotel. The service of Nanjing Ritz-Carlton is indeed meticulous. I never thought that my girlfriend's casual question about whether there is ice cream in the lounge, the service staff remembered it in their hearts, and soon got ice cream and sent it directly to the room. Since I needed to have lunch in the executive lounge, I explained to the front desk the difficulty of checking out at 12 o'clock, and the front desk also carefully delayed our check-out to 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Especially the hair dryer, which has enough wind, adjustable temperature, and can be styled. It is the best hair dryer I have used so far. The location is even better. The subway is very close, whether it is shopping, eating or going to attractions, it is super convenient. The subway is right outside, saving time and effort. The overall cost-effectiveness is very high, the facilities are complete, quiet and comfortable, whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is an excellent choice.
