Pros: We were upgraded to a better room on arrival. Room was comfortable and soundproofing was good. Hotel is fairly near to the metro station, but the station is so big that even walking from one end of the station to the hotel can be a few thousand steps! The male staff at the front office was very helpful to book the museum tickets for us using his phone account as we did not have a local number. Cons: The hotel was supposed to be a non-smoking one but i believe many guests smoked inside their rooms and the corridors, lifts and lift lobby smelt of cigarette smoke. The hotel ought to be stricter in enforcing the no-smoking rule. For this reason, I would not return to this hotel as it would be subjecting myself to second and third-hand smoke. There is no proper hooks or bars to hang bath towels.

I took the 6 person room, you kinda have your own privacy space for the bed as it was separated with a curtain that blocks out light ,so you won't have to worry about if other people use the big light in the late night or early morning... There's a small bar on the first floor where the reception is. Overall calm and cozy stay

This hotel is by far the best hotel I stayed in China. Easy to find, Starbucks and also a lot of local food restaurants downstairs, and when I arrived, they upgraded my room to a larger and more spatious room (incl. a small and cozy sitting area). Moreover, de breakfast was both Chinese and Western, enjoyed it very much. At the reception they could help me in English. Li Chenxuan, the lobby manager of the hotel, provided me with great service. Thank you very much.

The experience was great. The hotel room was large, bright, clean, and comfortable. The hotel provides airport pick-up service. Due to the typhoon, S1 stopped. We took a bus to the airport and called the hotel. It was 21:00 in the evening and it was windy and rainy. The hotel still arranged a driver to pick us up. Thank you for the driver. The service was super good.

The hotel is quite nice. The room was quiet. The location is okay but it’s a little bit far from the metro. There’s a supermarket downstairs and a restaurant. The only issue was the staff were quite unhelpful. We were on the 26th floor and ordered delivery. They have a robot which delivers items to the rooms but they robot won’t take food or drinks. There are several staff members downstairs but nobody to take items upstairs in place of the robot. Staff seem quite lazy and ingenious. You can probably find better hotels with better trained and more competent staff.

Interesting to have smart home system in the room, experience was great. Staff experience was great too, though the cleaner left the window open without closing the mosquito net. Amenities was quite poor in the hotel though, just good for night slp. AC temp cannot be adjusted, so this can be a point for improvement too.

The hotel is very well located, near almost everything you want to do downtown. However, as it is near everything, get ready to be awake early by either the noise from the street or people in the corridor, as the walls are thin. The hotel's parking lot is big enough so that you will have no trouble parking your car. The receptionists are very kind, even though they do not speak any English. The TV turns on without reason from time to time, so you better unplug it. As you can see from the pictures, the shower is not the most comfortable, yet it is good enough for a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, and the room's cleanliness is fine.

Location is excellent. Lobby is on the 43rd floor and the views are spectacular from our room. Breakfast is severely lacking especially for the price. The elevator situation is terrible as the hotel shares the 4 elevators with the commercial building. Check in was a pain if you are a foreigner using passport.

The hotel is close to Confucius Temple Pedestrian Street and not far from Laiyan Bridge. When checking in, the front desk girl gave me a free room upgrade. The bedding and toiletries in the room felt great. The hotel has a wide variety of breakfasts, and local snacks can also be tasted at breakfast. The quality of breakfast far exceeds the 38 yuan meal standard. In short, it was my first experience with the products of Shuguang Hotel Group, and it gave me a very good feeling. This time I went to Nanjing for a business trip and stayed at Atour. It was as good as ever. The room type with the inner window is also pretty good. It has a smart toilet and a small speaker compared to the premium king bed. The layout and area are basically the same. This design is quite good. The benefit of interior windows is that they are quiet and you won’t hear road noise. Breakfast is okay, there are many kinds, it would be nice if there are small cakes. The portion of skin belly noodles is not small. It is a bit much for breakfast. It would be better if there were less noodles.

So, of course, we went to the wrong one at first and that one seemed like an even newer and nicer hotel, but the one at Confucius Center had staff to go above and beyond to help us!!!!!
