The location of this hotel is probably the reason you should book it right away! It is located 1 min walk from the old town of Nanjing - Laomendong (also, very close to the major tourist attractions, such as Confucius temple and the Nanjing city wall). The hotel itself is in old Chinese style, which is certainly contributing to the overall vibe of your stay. The only thing I didn't like about my own room is that it was on the -2 floor. So no windows, hence no sense of what of the day it is. But also, I admit that it was the cheapest room available, so it kinda makes sense. But overall price/quality ratio is great! Absolutely recommend

The location is very good, there are attractions next to it, and the environment is also very good. But the sound insulation is very poor. I booked a tatami room, I don't know about the others, but the sound insulation is really poor. Here comes the important part: the cleaning lady is so dedicated. I booked for five nights and she knocked on the door every day around 1:40pm. Even when I turned on the Do Not Disturb function, it didn't work. Here comes the most important thing: I was alone and slept until the afternoon on the first night, and then that aunt came in! I was startled and confused. If you didn't answer and didn't hook the anti-theft button, she would have come in directly! Be sure to remember to make that check mark! ! !

The location is very good, close to Laomentong and Zhonghuamen.
The room was clean and spacious. I don't speak much Chinese, so I communicated via WeChat. It has automatic translation, so I think it's fine even for foreigners.

Great service and location.
Right across the road from a street full of restaurants, cafes, and other food vendors. A little far from the train station in terms of walking distance but we found it fine even with 2 large suitcases.
This was a lovely cozy hotel and definitely would recommend to other travellers especially if you are foodies like us !
