The Purple Palace Nanjing

The environment is quite good. I didn't enjoy the leisure time during this business trip. I will come again when I have the chance.

Last time, I was greeted by Mr. Sun Sen from the concierge department. He was very welcoming and professional, so I contacted him directly before this visit. The experience was equally excellent, with thoughtful and meticulous service. The room Mr. Sun arranged was large and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in a lot of light. The view overlooked the vast lawn, which was very pleasing to the eye. I also want to give a thumbs up to Ms. Zou Mengqi at the Champs-Elysées restaurant. I was very satisfied with all the dishes she recommended, and she even helped with table cleaning and getting drinks throughout the entire stay, so I didn't have to run around myself. I was very satisfied!

The hotel is located in Zijin Mountain, hence the name Zijin Villa. Green is everywhere. Green everywhere. The room facilities are exceptionally well-maintained, far superior to comparable hotels of the same star rating. The service is also unlike typical hotels. Outside the lobby, no one helps with luggage or opens the door to greet guests. Inside, they're so busy with their work that they ignore guests' arrivals. Guests are expected to ask, "Is this where I check in?" But if you lose a small item, like a sock, they'll call to confirm. How do you handle it? (This deserves a thumbs-up.) The breakfast standard isn't high, and the Western dishes are limited, or rather, noticeably limited, but the Chinese dishes are of excellent quality. This is a hotel unlike any other. Adapting to it is the best way to get along. In the evening, as the sun was setting, we took a stroll around the lake, about 5,000 steps. Mountains, forests, lake water, boats, lotus flowers, small wildflowers, and black swans. These alone are worth the price of admission.
