Homeinn Plus Hotel (Nanjing Zijin Mountain Scenic Area Maqun Subway Station)

I brought my son to Nanjing this time, and because it's so close to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, we chose to stay at the Home Inn. It's truly a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist, Manager Chen, and the front desk assistant, Xiao Gao, were exceptionally helpful and attentive. I was particularly pleased with the room's amenities and cleanliness. Even the housekeeping staff were incredibly helpful when they cleaned my room for me. We bumped into the general manager in the elevator, who enthusiastically recommended the hotel's self-service laundry room. It was incredibly convenient for my son and I to get our sweaty clothes washed and dried right away after shopping. It was incredibly comfortable. Overall, this stay was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend the Home Inn Maqun Road branch next time I visit Nanjing.

The service was terrible. We arrived alone and checked in first. Then, another person arrived, and we went to the front desk to add someone else to the check-in process. The receptionist was alone, and I couldn't tell if they were dealing with other guests or something else. They looked impatient, one hand on the phone, the other folded over their chest. It was raining, and two or three more couples arrived. We decided to go out and get some food and come back to check in. We asked the front desk several times if they had an umbrella, but they ignored us, so we ended up going out in the rain. That evening, we ordered takeout—fruit and snacks. The delivery driver had called and said they'd wait for the robot to deliver it, but it would take ten minutes, and the food still hadn't arrived. We called the front desk to find out what was going on, but no one answered after several calls. We assumed there was something wrong with the phone, so we found the hotel's phone number on the platform and called it directly from our own phone. They hung up on us, proving that the front desk was staffed and there was nothing else wrong. We had no choice but to go downstairs to the front desk to ask what was going on. When we did, they ignored us and refused to speak. Then the security guard came over to explain that the front desk was busy. Aren't the other hotel staff busy, either? I don't know what kind of service attitude they have. Later, we discovered that the takeaway food that was meant for our room wasn't delivered together. One was delivered, and the other was still downstairs. We had to go back up to chase the robot. It was really speechless...
