Popular Nanjing 4-star Hotels

This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host. 这是一个非常好的民宿。 这民宿地点是在塔下村。 塔下村是个地点比较安静， 不商业化的土楼景区。 对住客来说是很有私人空间。民宿就在河溪旁边，晚上睡觉时， 还可听见河溪的流水声。 早上在塔下村四处走走， 村民都对游客很友善， 没有对我有任何商业销售产品的压力。 民宿的老板很友善， 很肯帮助客人。这跟一般的其他酒店的住宿都很不一样。 老板也指点我如何去其他的土楼景点， 和去附近的价钱公道的餐馆用餐。

I booked a loft room with two floors. The biggest advantage is that it is in the scenic area, convenient, near the big banyan tree, less than 10 meters away. The most obvious disadvantage is that the road into the village is too narrow, and the turn is 90 degrees, which is very demanding. It scratched the chassis of the car. We staggered the Spring Festival holiday, and the room price was still more than 1,000 yuan. The service was very good, but the service quality was average, slightly inferior to the room price. Compared with the same price, Yangshuo Mingsu still has a lot of room for improvement. For example, the catering is average, there is no afternoon tea, coffee, no local breakfast, just a very ordinary breakfast, the soy milk is not freshly ground, and the chicken for dinner does not feel freshly slaughtered. There are also some details, such as the stainless steel bucket for boiling water, which is not easy to use and can easily burn your hands. I sincerely hope that I can go to a higher level next time.

The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast. It is very pet-friendly. The room is in the center of the scenic area, very close to Huaiyuan Tower and Hegui Tower. There are a lot of food nearby. The boss will call in advance to inform you about entering the scenic area and parking. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The boss guy would go to the parking lot to help with luggage. The room was very stylish, the mattress was super soft, the breakfast was quite rich, and there was a cute Labrador, which is very suitable for families. Travel and self drive with pets.

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

A very satisfactory B&B. It is located by the water. It is quiet in the bustle. It is very quiet at night. It is in the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area. It takes 8 minutes to walk slowly to Huaiyuan Tower. There is no charge to climb the tower at night. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the central waterwheel. The bar there is very lively with singing at night and the night view is super beautiful. Has its own parking lot. The boss is warm and hospitable, and he will take the initiative to pick us up in the parking lot and drag our luggage. The room is clean and beautiful, the bedding is clean and comfortable to sleep on. The package includes an afternoon tea with delicious cakes, watermelon, and chrysanthemum tea. The food at the B&B is delicious, including tiger tail chicken soup, sweet potato leaves, tofu stew, and stir-fried bamboo shoots. The wine brewed by the owner is delicious. Breakfast is also good, clean and hygienic. The next day at noon, I ate the braised noodles made by the boss, which was great.

Overall it's okay, especially the introduction of chartered cars, which is cost-effective and doesn't rip off customers. However, the breakfast is not very good. The breakfast level can be improved overall.

It was an impromptu trip to see the earth buildings. I found Nanyuan Inn on Ctrip. I was unexpectedly surprised. It turned out to be a renovated earth building with unique design. It is in a village that has not yet been developed for tourism. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has few people. , suitable for daze. The lady at the inn is super enthusiastic and feeds us all kinds of dried fruits and peanuts, and the meals are all delicious.

A very beautiful hotel with the structure in wood of an old tulou and a fishpond in the center of the courtyard. It was very peaceful. You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof. You are awaken by the sounds of the birds in the morning, it is really a unique experience. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor. They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.

Taxia Village is located in the Tulou Scenic Area. To enter, you need to buy a ticket first. The room is clean, spacious and bright, and the intelligent facilities enhance the living experience. The store manager is very enthusiastic and the homemade tea he gives is very delicious. The hotel's restaurant tastes good. The most important thing is that the kitchen is clean and hygienic, which is better than other farmhouse hotels in the surrounding area. It was a wise choice to choose to stay at Taxia Village B&B this time. The village has beautiful mountains and clear waters, a good original ecological atmosphere, and is not over-developed. Moreover, the earth buildings here are very classic. The hotel is a ten-minute drive from these buildings. Personally, I think it is enough to come here to the Nanjing Tulou Scenic Area.

There are a lot of green plants in the hotel, and there are tea tables and tea leaves everywhere. There are two rooms in the first phase of the rock house and the second phase of the tree house. We booked the highest room in the second phase. We overestimated ourselves and were exhausted after several trips. But the scenery outside the room is really beautiful. There is an electric blanket on the bed. The breakfast nine-square soy milk is quite good, and the dishes ordered in the restaurant the night before are also delicious and fresh. There are two points that I am not satisfied with the infrastructure. One is that the mirror in the highest tree house room is too bad, comparable to the ancient bronze mirror that can't see anything. The second is that the shower leaks too seriously. Overall, I am very satisfied and recommend it to my friends.
