The room was spacious, the view was stunning. The bathroom was badly configured, the shower door was very stiff to move. The room hadn't been cleaned properly, only one set of towels, we got another bath towel but for three days we had to share a hand towel Cleaning was hit and miss despite me complaining and being assured it would be done daily, not unusual to find dirty cups left and the bed not properly made. Breakfast was awful, even on full the toaster didn't heat the bread, no orange juice, only apple juice and then not every dsy. Breakfast Room was small and often we had to wait for clean crockery and cutlery.

We have stayed at the Inn on Long Lake before and were quite satisfied with everything. This trip we invited family who stayed in different rooms and we were not at all treated the same as before. The breakfast buffet was unpleasant as the waffle maker was partially working but not well at all. Our rooms were not cleaned each day as they didn’t have staff to complete our rooms. There was a shortage of clean towels and lastly when we approached the day supervisor we were treated poorly. We often travel to Nanaimo but will look for other accommodation’s in the future

A beautiful setting at the end of Long lake. Nice garden flowers and a very beautiful view. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. A great place for families and couples. The patio area is lovely looking onto a dock. Lots of picnic tables. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Also near to a mall and dining places. Would recommend this place.

Excellent location right on the lake, Easy access to the freeway, great restaurants near the hotel, good customer service, rooms are spacious and comfortable, good countental breakfast, 6 miles from the ferry ⛴️ to Vencuver BC, Thank you .

Great vacation destination. We had two 1 bedroom units with kitchen as well as a queen room. The one bedroom suites were spacious and homey. Gave us a great space for the family to congregate and share a meal. The outside area is beautiful with a nice fire pit to sit around. Breakfast was good. Staff were great, especially Lenny on the front desk. Excellent place for an extended stay in Nanaimo.

We went to Canada for a short vacation to remember when we had visited for the Expo many years ago. One place was to visit Nanaimo and we are glad we stayed at Inn on Long Lake It was a wonderful choice. The location was perfect. Lenny answered all of our questions and the room was beyond our expectations. It made for us a memorable visit .

Rooms are clean and well maintained. We travelled with a 10 year old and she loved the geese, hot tub, swimming beach nearby and the Continental breakfast. Actually with restaurant prices we were glad for the generous breakfast. Yogurt, fruit, pastry, waffles hard boiled eggs and plain omelets. Also a variety of cereals, good coffee and juice. Totally worth it. I have stayed solo several times and really enjoy this property.

We picked the Inn on Long Lake due to its proximity to the ferry terminal. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and came with a lively view of the lake. The staff were very helpful too. We look forward to visiting again the next time we are in Nanaimo.
