Although I requested room cleaning service in the morning, they didn’t do anything. Hence, I called the front desk around 5PM, and then he said it’s busy, so no time to do cleaning. If I didn’t call, I think I couldn’t even get a new towel.
Also the homeless people walk around the parking lot and make noises.

Contrary to a number of reviews, we had a good stay here. Not the nicest area of Nanaimo, but convenient along the main road from the ferry. Family suite was a full 2br apartment, clean but not brand new. The gentleman at the front desk was courteous and helpful. DQ across the street. They only rent to out of towners now, which may have been why we had a nice quiet stay.

I really appreciate they allow dogs ($10 fee) the closeness to the ferry terminal is perfect. Upgrades, good bed clean, nice new walk- shower. Just need to pay attention to the bathroom floor, spots on the walls, Hair on the floor. Not just 1 hair but a few. The rest of the place is cleaner... wear shoes

Good customer service. The staff were nice, respectful and helpful. It’s a cheap stay so you get what you paid for as the property is quite old. BUT it’s very clean, spacious, no smell and quiet despite of the location near the road. We felt safe too. So overall it was a good stay.
