great place, great location, great food, nice bungalows and the staff is the best, they created an unforgettable memory for us, very friendly and very professional and they made our stay an exeptional experience the location and the safari’s are all beautiful but the staff, all the people who work here make the real difference

Charming lodge with excellent location overlooking Lake Nakuru. Very well maintained property. Without exception, the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. There were two negatives that stop me from giving a 5 star rating. The first was unreliable internet service. On repeated occasions I would connect to an apparently strong signal to be informed there was no actual internet connection. The second negative was a poor guide. We had our own vehicle but hired a guide for one morning. He could not name most of the birds and trees we asked about. Nevertheless we look forward to returning.

Tout est très bien , complexe hôtelier très étendu avec une magnifique vue sur le lac nakuru. Les enfants adorent cet endroit ! La piscine est super et le jardin aussi ! Les chambres sont un peu petites surtout en famille mais le buffet est super bon et varié. Merci pour tout !

Als zweite Station unserer sechstägigen Safari erreichten wir diese Lodge von der Rhino Watch Lodge in knapp vier Stunden mit dem Safarijeep. Durch die günstige Lage innerhalb des Parks waren wir bei unseren zwei Game Drives sehr rasch mitten im Geschehen und konnten so ausführlich die breitgefächerte Tierwelt von Hippos, über Nashörner, bis hin zu Warzenschweinen, Wasserböcken, -büffeln und Zebras in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum beobachten. Wiederholt kreuzten ganze Pavianhorden mit kleinen und kleinsten Nachkommen ohne Scheu unseren Weg. In sich ruhend ließen im See hunderte von Flamingos und Pelikane die Karawane vorbeiziehen, ein Seeadler beäugte von weit oben auf einem Baum die Umgebung. Durch das kostenfreie WLAN konnten wir in der ganzen Anlage per WhatsApp problemlos Kontakt zu unseren Lieben aufnehmen und das eine oder andere Foto verschicken. Auf dem weitläufigen Gelände mit 90 einzelnstehenden Cottages mussten wir vom Eingang / Restaurant bis Zimmer 122, ziemlich am Ende der Lodge, schon einige Meter zurücklegen. Auch hier schützte in unserem Zimmer 122 ein feinmaschiges Moskitonetz unser großes Doppelbett vor unerwünschten Besuchern. Unsere Klamotten konnten wir problemlos auf den bereitgestellten Kleiderbügeln aufhängen, bzw. in den Fächern ablegen. Unter der funktionsfähigen Dusche konnten wir den Staub von der Tagespirsch abbrausen, für „Katzenwäsche“ und sonstige Körperhygiene stand ein separates Waschbecken bereit. Auch hier vermittelte eine Wärmflasche im Bett hingegen heimelige Gefühle, sodass wir problemlos einschlafen konnten. Auch hier überschlugen sich alle Angestellten vor Freundlichkeit. Bei Fragen standen sie jederzeit zur Verfügung und boten ihre Unterstützung an. Bei allen Mahlzeiten hatten wir am reichhaltigen Büffet die Qual der Wahl aus verschiedenen schmackhaften Gerichten. Wenn für 300 ml Cola 200 KES, 1 000 ml Mineralwasser 400 KES und 0,5l Bier 500 fällig sind, darf man echt nicht jammern. Da wir auch hier so viele neue Eindrücke über die faszinierende Landschaft und die grandiose Tierwelt verarbeiten durften, vermissten wir einen Fernseher nicht, den Pool unmittelbar neben dem Restaurant nutzten wir lediglich als Fotomotiv, für ein Abtauchen war uns die Zeit jedoch zu schade bei so umfangreichem natürlichem Angebot. Viel lieber entspannten wir kurz auf der gemütlichen Terrasse bei einem Blick in die Ferne.
