I enjoyed my stay at this hotel during my 3 day visit in September 2025. The room was always maintained clean, tide and neat. Nice city views from the 9th floor where I was. Friendly stuff in particular was Zelec in the gym. He was ready to assist on anything and the gym is well equipped to give unforgettable workouts. Hope to come back again on my next visit.
Good location if you want to be fairly central with a few minutes walk to plenty of bars. Uber is very efficient and cheap here if you want to travel out. The staff were very good and the restaurant/bar is 24/7 (I believe). Room was lovely. Overall, although I think Nairobi is a little on the expensive side, this was ok. I tried to book again for after the safari but it was more expensive so i went to the Swiss Belinn instead, which was cheaper and the same standard (a little further away but again, Uber and Bolt are super efficient and cheap here).
TIPS FOR FOREIGNERS COMING INTO KENYA:
1. Get your currency outside of Kenya, the exchange rate here, particularly at the airport, is absolutely awful - I found them to be offering upto 35% less than the actual rate.
2. You only really need a small amount of cash here - most places you will visit accept card.
3. DO NOT BUY A TELKOM SIM CARD. It is absolutely useless, even in Nairobi but does not work AT ALL on safari.
4. Uber and Bolt are very good here.
5. If you are doing safari and your trip does not include the national park fees (payable in USD), make sure you get those before arriving - the banks and ATMs here are very unreliable if you want USD.
6. Do not pay extortionate hotel prices for laundry - find a local company who will collect and deliver your laundry for a fraction of the price like Smartfua Laundromat.
7. If you go on Safari, try not to sit on the back of the vehicle - it gets VERY bumpy.
Have a great trip!
Nice location. Nice Big Rooms. Room service is a bit delayed always. They shall have a little more options for vegetarian breakfast.
One thing that’s really disturbing to see in a hotel like this, even if you are waiting for your checkin at the hotel and you ask for water, they charge for it.
Very Good

Very good, cost-effective, is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in in Nairobi. The only downside: the restaurant is not very tasty. I am a girl who dared not go far in the evening, almost every day in the hotel restaurant to eat spit
Traveling to Nairobi to participate in business negotiations to stay at this hotel, the hotel environment is good, the room layout is relatively warm, especially the service is very attentive. The nearby nightlife and dining are convenient, and the National Museum is just over a kilometer away. Hotel breakfast quality needs to be improved.

My stay was amazing, great hotel the hotel safe were very helpful great staff, breakfast was delicious choice of meal and fruits all fresh , the in house amenities was fantastic, and the location was really nice for me . Rest assured I will be visiting again.
Thanks you La Maison Royal.
My overall experience was above expectations due to the bad reviews. Am happy I made my own decision.
I was not disappointed
Very good, clean and hygienic, one of the best hotels in Nairobi. The most important thing is that it is very safe, and the security is well done. The incoming and outgoing packages and luggage are inspected, the vehicle is inspected, and there are police dogs on board to inspect the vehicle. this is what we need

KKRCNMTVNBDLocation was very good, just in front of Sarit mall. All the staff was friendly and room condition was the best!
GGuest UserSituated in a busy location, amenities and nice restaurant near by. On our check out we were asked to pay additional $ as the exchange rate changed from the moment we pay our room cost during checked in, so we ended up having to spend time to understand why the hotel would charge customer an amount in USD upon check in, and charge customer again if the exchange rate changed at the end of our stay, when I asked would they refund money to customers if the exchange rate changed favourable to the customer, they couldn't answer. Be aware on their overcharge policy and they disguise the charge with while refunding the deposit.
GGuest UserVery good hotel, the shower water is very hot, safari has not rushed so hot water for so long, so happy, very clean, the black sister at the front desk helped me call the car, very good, great
