Overall this hotel was good. The breakfast food spread was amazing and the A-la-cart items you could order at dinner were very fancy and delicious.
The staff was friendly and kind (but they often seemed overwhelmed with work). There was a huge walking path in the back of the lot. The grounds were beautiful. The hotel was clean. The gym was small; it included a rack of dumbbells, two or three treadmills, an elliptical machine, and one yoga mat. The water jug in the gym was empty.
We wouldn’t stay here again because there are really nice hotels nearby for 1/3 of the cost. Maybe the food variety wouldn’t be as good as Eka, or less beautiful grounds, but Eka was not worth the extra cost. We stayed two nights and the entire time couldn’t see where the $125 a night value was coming from.
Sadly, the other Nairobi hotel ratings on Trip are lower, like 3.5. An example hotel is Maison Royale. But if you’re looking for a good hotel just a bit less fancy, go somewhere else.

It was my first time to stay EKA. I arrived 8 hours before check-in time, having made a booking for one night. Unfortunately, my connection flight was on the same day, meaning that I wasn't spending a night in the Hotel. So grateful to have been allowed early check-in at no additional cost. A plus on flexibility of hotel management. Staff were generally warm, professional and willing to help. I will certainly be back!

EKA Hotel is ok.
The rooms are cleaned quickly and immediately if the cleaning sign is in front of the door.
The staff is friendly but not necessarily fast when it comes to refilling the dishes.
The food in the evening was not to my liking. Too long.

Overall, the experience at Eka from a service standpoint was great. The People were kind and did a great job. The quality of the room itself was great however, you can hear everything in the halls. When people use this as a stopping point for safari, this means you get woken up around 5am from doors slamming. Also, our AC didn't cool off the room...given our one night stay we didn't report this. Convenient to Wilson Airport, very safe and secure property but one where you don't want to walk around off site which seems to be common in Nairobi.

We had a nights stop over so stayed here & we’re really impressed with the hotel. The staff are very friendly, the massage was wonderful & the pool area immaculately clean. Buffet breakfast offered a large amount of options & the bed was very comfortable.

Eka hotel was the perfect spot for our stay in nairobi Conveniently located to the airport, the national park and lovely restaurants, you can travel to most places quickly and easily by Uber. The hotel itself was in good condition, the beds were comfy and the staff were welcoming and attentive. My only comment would be there could be another mirror in the bedroom near plug sockets for hair straighteners etc, but a minor complaint. Thanks!

This hotel provided a day room prior to heading for my return flight to London. Staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The room was clean, spacious and provided all the necessary amenties for a short stay. Lunch had a good selection and was very nice.
