Hotels near Nagoya Castle, Nagoya

I stayed here during my trip to Nagoya. 1. location It has some locational advantages to look around Nagoya. This hotel is really close to Hisaya Odori station, and still quite close to Sakae station as well. It'll be a great benefit to travelers those planning to use Metro while traveling. We can reach many spots without transfer. Plus, many convenience stores nearby and Mirai tower is only about 5 min away. 2. service I loved thier service. Some of staff can speak English, while some of them can merely understand a few words. But still they try their best to help us by using translators. Also they land us several things that you might need for long travel. (For example, nail clippers, chargers, etc) Plus, you can ask them about some tour information that you might find hard to search. To add some, during my trip to Nagoya, I visited Takayama for 3 days. After that, I came back to Nagoya. During my trip to Takayama, they kept some of my luggage. So I didn't need to carry my suitcase all the way to Takayama. I loved there service. 3. facility I didn't find much difficulties during my stays in this hotel. I slept well here. The only thing to point out is that refrige is not that big and its refrigeration is poor. But, still okay to cool down some beverages to carry around sufficiently so it was fine for me. Considering its price, that's good enough. Plus, there is coin laundry(washing machine and drier) and ice machine. 4. cleanliness As many hotels in Japan, the hotel is clean. Overall, I was satisfied about the stay in this hotel, and willing to stay here when I have a chance to visit Nagoya again. (+) p.s. For those who travel alone like me might not need many things from hotel, but you've got to spend money for accommodation since you are using room alone. This hotel will surely be a good choice for you.

Although the hotel has been open for a long time, the maintenance facilities are acceptable. The rooms are of moderate size, but the surrounding streets are very dirty and the parking lot is very expensive.

Beautifully decorated in December for christmas. Although older building, hotel was well maintained and staff friendly. Limited English though. Rooms a little dark (orange lighting) but ideal for a good night's rest. Best for free parking.

Great location, in the center of all the attractions we visited. Couple of minutes walk to Fushimi station. The room was large 25(m2) and worth the value. Hotel staff were helpful and amenities available in the room. Room felt comfortable with good working AC. The only downfall was the hallway, which has a stench smell to it (guess due to the hot weather and humidity.

I stayed here on a business trip for a conference. It was great to be able to stay cheaply with breakfast included. There was also a wide selection of anime. You can choose your main dish for breakfast, so you can enjoy it according to your mood.

Geographically very ideal. It is close to the metro and directly above the bus station, located in the heart of the city, and surrounded by shops and restaurants of all kind. Yet it is still not difficult to navigate.  The hotel service was supreme with very kind staff that are fluent in different languages and prompt with helping the residents.  The hotel room is up to par. It’s clean and spacious with all the equipment you require, like kettles and hair dryer. Furniture includes a desk and a moderately-sized television. Even though it’s close to the metro it is quiet in the hotel room.  Overall a satisfying stay. Would recommend.

Tthe room is relatively small compared to other hotel, yet the environment and the service is very good, the place is clean and tidy and room service provided everyday if you need. Family of 4 need to book 2 rooms. Location very convenient, walking distance to Nagoya station

It's old, so I can't see all the spaces are clean, but the room was spacious and I used it comfortably. I didn't apply for breakfast separately, but simply bread and coffee It was delicious because it was provided free of charge. After checking out, I walked to Sakae Station, but I think it is a convenient area of 10-12 minutes.

It's very clean and tidy, and it's very ceremonial. You will be given a key to turn in the room. Then you can open it. The linens are also the old-fashioned ones, but very comfortable. The room is relatively large in Japan, and it's close to the subway station!

The service is OK, and the front desk basically answers all questions. Facilities: There are washing machines, kettles, microwaves, and gas stoves, which are convenient! The room is not big, but you can open the box. The shower room is a bit cramped, and the worst thing is that the door frame of the room is very low! It may be less than 180cm! Head bumping!!! People with heights greater than 178cm should be careful!!! Environment: Close to several railways, the sound of trains passing the tracks is very loud, and it is not recommended for people with sleep disorders! In addition, there is no food and beverage nearby, and you can only take a train to Nagoya or Kanayama Station for meals.
