Nagoya Nakamura Ward Hotels

Extremely satisfied! When I was booking, I hesitated a bit because the total price for a 7-night stay wasn't cheap. However, I decided to book it after seeing that it's close to the station, has spacious rooms, and the beds in the twin rooms are larger than those in other hotels. Upon arrival, I was so glad we chose this place; it was incredibly convenient. Nagoya Station is directly accessible from the hotel. This made getting to and from the airport, traveling to other cities, visiting Legoland, and meeting for our day trip to Shirakawa-go all incredibly easy and saved us a lot of hassle. There's a food street on floors 12-13 directly downstairs, where we enjoyed several meals. The lobby is on the 15th floor and features Japan's highest Starbucks. A shopping mall is also directly accessible downstairs, making shopping at Takashimaya very convenient. For an extended stay, comfort is key. The rooms are spacious, offering city views. The shower is large, and the bath amenities are comprehensive. The complimentary capsule coffee machine and other in-room provisions were also quite nice. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with incredibly convenient access. If budget isn't a concern, I highly recommend it for families traveling with children.

Well located hotel, beside nagoya station and next to malls (takashimaya). JR, subway and shinkansen accessible. 30mins ride via the airport train from nagoya airport. Popular Osu is just 2 stations away. Hotel provide a trolley of toiletries daily n housekeeping. Best hotel ever stayed with a awesome view!

The room was generously sized for Japan. It's conveniently located near Nagoya Station, just a 10-minute walk away. Several popular cafes and bakeries are also within easy reach. Overall, the location is extremely convenient. The Sakae shopping district is about a 20-minute walk.

The Mitsui Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from both the bus station and Kintetsu Nagoya Station, making it incredibly convenient for travel to places like the airport and Takayama. The hotel's design and ambiance are first-rate; it's both grand and elegant. The large public bath (大浴场) adds a wonderfully welcoming and cozy touch. The only minor issue was the room size. It felt smaller than 24 square meters, making it quite a squeeze to open even two suitcases.

Not far from Ibis style Nagoya. - Have a 7/11 or family Mart right next door. - Small rooms size and challenge for those with big baggage (only short fall). Powerful air-conditioned. -seafood mkt (morning & afternoon) within walking distance. -Strict chk in time. - Full Amendities (regular like tooth brush, vainity pack, facial cotton etc) provided + face steamer, hair curler - Htl even provided fire proof seal at the door (underneath the change towel magnets). - 1st time see a htl provided a fake door card to slot in while pax are out shopping.

Five Stars! This hotel offers incredible value for money. It's perfectly located, just about 200 meters from Nagoya Station, with an abundance of izakayas nearby, making dining out extremely convenient. Our twin room even had the luxury of a wet-dry separated bathroom – a definite plus! The staff were diligent and well-trained, ensuring an incredibly efficient check-in process. Plus, there are two highly recommended breakfast spots right next door, Komeda and Hoshino, both excellent choices!

The hotel is a bit bigger than expected (enough to open the suitcase). Besides, the breakfast served is quite good, nice if you don’t want to walk around for breakfast. The only bad thing is that there’s a weird smell from the aircon so we ended up turning off it for the whole night

Room is Japanese standard size, walk From Nagoya station around 7 min. Near to Toyota car rental and aeon super market. Have a nice grill unagi rice just walk few step.

The room was reasonably spacious, didn't feel cramped at all, and the front desk staff were very friendly. However, when I booked on Ctrip, there was an option for one adult and one child. Since my daughter is under 18, I selected that option. To my surprise, when I clicked, it somehow changed to a child under one year old. Upon arrival, the hotel asked me to pay an additional ¥3,000. I checked, and the walk-in rate for that day was actually cheaper than what I had originally paid, so adding ¥3,000 made it even more expensive. I tried to negotiate with the hotel, but they refused and told me to contact Ctrip. Ctrip also said there was nothing they could do, and I couldn't cancel the booking. It felt truly unfair, but I had no choice but to accept it. This option system is incredibly misleading; I clearly selected the correct one! I strongly advise anyone in a similar situation to double-check carefully to avoid making the same mistake. On another note, the address is very close to the train station, but there's road construction happening right now. Plus, it was very sunny and hot in Nagoya, so walking to the hotel was still a bit tiring. Nagoya isn't really that exciting of a city.

There is a family mart downstairs and few cafes around the hotel. About 7 minutes walking distance from JR Nagoya station. Extra few minutes walk from Meitetsu Nagoya station. The staffs are helpful and friendly. I also stored my luggage with hotel reception before check-in time.
