Takei Ryokan

It was my first trip to Nagano with my elderly mother, and we visited Togakushi. As other people have written, the inn has retained the good old things about it, while incorporating new elements. The elaborate dishes were wonderful. Not only that, the landlady was a truly mysterious person. She was friendly and kind, and I couldn't believe it was the first time I'd met her, and I felt a sense of nostalgia. I never expected that we'd have such a great time chatting in the lobby (for quite a while) (^^) It's a really good memory that we were able to talk about so many different things. I'd like to visit in different seasons and experience different scenery and seasonal sensations. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
