2-Star Hotels in Nadi

BE AWARE: you may not actually be booking at Bamboo Travellers. I booked with Bamboo Backpackers/Travellers and they directed me to check on down the street at a place called BlueWater Lodge, which is where I actually stayed. Very confusing check-in process because they didn't clarify that I would actually be staying in a different property. The Bamboo Travellers place itself didn't seem to look at all like the pictures here or have any of the activities described - very run-down building, no bar, etc. I'm not actually confident that anyone was staying there (may have just been the checkin desk). At the BlueWater Lodge, the private room was fine - about what you'd expect for a private room in a hostel. Comfortable enough, though very smelly bathroom. It's a bit of a walk from the beach. Just disappointed and confused that I didn't actually stay at the place I booked... they clearly need to update their info on booking sites & website so people don't have to go through the same confusing process. I checked out the places that are actually on the beach and Smugglers Cove seemed pretty good and similarly low-priced. They have fire shows in the evening too at the beach restaurant. Next time would stay there or the Ramada.

The location is very convenient, the room is a bit old, I don't know if I can book this hotel here to pick me up at the airport, take a taxi to the hotel by myself, normal 15 Fiji dollars can be, I don't understand for the first time, the driver asked me 20 Fiji dollars, I gave him.

Reception comes with a warm welcome, then the real thing started. Finding a room with Aircond took 1 hour. In an area with no taxi, reception often mark up $10 for calling one for you. No food or store around, hotel food close at 6pm. There is thief trying to get in and knock on doors from 8pm to 1am. They are led by security to check if no one then open the door to search for valuables. Reception and a strong guy knock on the door at 1am and told me to pay again by cash because my previous payment card denied. I show them my credit debit record, and refused to be rip off. There is bed bugs and cockroach in the room as well as on the bed. Water from tab is yellow. Given 2 small soap, no shampoo, no others I would suggest to take something with free airport pick up. Never recommend this hotel as it’s a rip off.

advantage: 1. There is free airport pick-up service, and the pick-up service attitude is also good. 2. The hotel is right outside the business district, where you can apply for local phone cards, shop in supermarkets, and eat in restaurants. shortcoming: 1. The hotel is too old, and the furniture is basically at the level of domestic guest houses in the 1990s. There are always some minor problems with the items in the room. Either the TV has no signal, the bathroom is leaking, or there are old stains on the sheets that cannot be washed away. 2. Breakfast is too simple

Service: The service is very good, help carry luggage to the room, The facilities are a bit poor, bring your own slippers, otherwise you have to take a bath with bare feet, and you have to bring your own washing. There is no quilt and quilt cover. The small blanket that is afraid of the cold at night is generally good compared to the local cheap hotel.

Fabulous place. We have a beach view room. Well worth it. Good vibes. Shops nearby. Taxis available. A walk in the beach is a must and the lamb curry with roti was nam!! I stayed with one of my good friends, both locals and we were welcomed by the staff. The restaurant staff were amazing and kind always! Helped us put a cake away that needed to be in a cool place. I will definitly rebook Room 3. Just one minor thing with Rom 3, the door into bathroom is smack bang in front of a cement post which was awkward at first. You get used to it after a while.
