This resort is inland and is more like a 2 star resort. The room was very basic, tv didnt work, the bed was hard! The aircon was good jn the room! Very dated room. Friends i was with asked the hotel if they could take us to Nadi Town and the hotel worker tried to charge us 100 FJD then said he would give a discount of 20 dollars but we gave him 60! Caught a taxi back from Nadi town to the resort it cost 12.50! Driver was big rip off! Also lost my key care and charged 25.50 these cards are worth nothing. Fijian lady on the reception was lovely could not fault her at all. Breakfast was baked beans and porridge and watermelon. Pool area was nice.

I'm sorry to say it but the experience did not live up to the pictures on the booking site. We enjoyed the pool and the omelette for breakfast but the complimentary breakfast was a let down. All I can say is that staff training in hospitality is urgently needed, update your website with real facts, ( no wifi in rooms and TV didn't work), and let people know there are stairs so that we don't struggle to get to our rooms. Tell us that the courtesy vehicle is available for airport transfers and fix up the road! An expensive taxi trip because of its distance from the main road. Thankfully the washer and dryer worked well because there was no daily serving of towels.

The restaurant has plenty of choice of food and drinks. I really enjoyed my club sandwich with fries and iced tea by the pool. Looking forward to the rest of my stay, and especially looking forward to a swim in the huge gorgeous pool. This place feels very peaceful and relaxing.

I had the misfortune of staying at Nasau Resort and Villas recently and was quite underwhelmed and disappointed. I have been blessed to have stayed at a few hotels and resorts of varying sizes, ratings, etc around Fiji and all had their merits and drawbacks but generally had one thing in common, the "Bula Spirit". Nasau was the first where the "Bula Spirit" was lacking starting with when I arrived and had to get the attention of the receptionist who was on her phone to get served. There was no "Bula Vinaka, welcome to Nasau Resort and Villas" nor was there a brief on wifi and amenities or meal times and other info a guest might expect to receive when checking in. This poor service without that "Bula Spirit" was not a once-off and seemed to be the same amongst all staff whether at reception, the bar, or the restaurant. The food was not nice at all, would not recommend ordering at all. I had the most pleasant exchange with the lady attendant at the shop, who had that familiar "Bula Spirit" but the shop itself was quite bare and overpriced. The rooms were large but felt grungy. When I walked in my room had just been poorly mopped. The conference facilities were basic and we had sound issues with mics throughout. The only pleasant thing about the hotel was that it was quiet and gave one a different view of the mountains surrounding Nadi. Would not recommend if you're looking for something conveniently located with a little bit of luxury and iconic Fijian warmth.

An absolute dump of a place that calls itself a resort. The location is in the middle of nowhere with absolutely terrible roads leading to it. The rooms are basic, with very few amenities, and the onsite so-called "shop" is a joke, with hardly any worthwhile products to choose from. Some of the staff are friendly, but not quite switched on when it comes to brain power ... very forgetful and oblivious to the needs and wants of western society when it comes to resort hotels. To close, I have to throw in a comment on the very poor maintenance in and around the hotel, making it look and feel more like an abandoned warehouse with beds than a decent, comfortable, clean hotel.

Stayed here with my family for 2 nights. I have stayed in so many hotels in Fiji but this was one of the worst experience I had. It looks very beautiful from outside, the lobby was quite specious with a lot of sitting space. Check in process was fast as we have arrived around 4pm by then most of the guests must have checked in as the checkin starts at 2pm. We were escorted by the potter to our room. Unfortunately there were no elevators, I had to take my 2 kids (10yo & 3yo) to the room which was on level 3. Along with us was my mum who is a heart patient :( On our way to the room we noticed the passages looked very dirty and it seemed like it hasn't been cleaned for so many days. Bird poop were almost everywhere. We got into our room, the room smelled really bad, as if someone had just used the toilet and left.. argh! The bathrooms and handbasin seemed to be not washed or cleaned for years. The bed sheets were all stained and we asked the reception to have this changed. They changed one only. We had asked them to chang pillow case but they didn't change that. We didn't have any towels in our room. When we called to enquire we were told that it is still in the laundry. We waited for almost 1.5hrs and called again that we needed the towels urgently as we were running late for a function. The brought us towels which were all stained and looked really dirty as if it was never washed. Breakfast was ok. They had bread, cereals, porridge, fruits etc. But I think it was not worth the money we had paid. Pool was very nice and well maintained. Next day we kept asking the housekeeping guys to clean our room but they didn't till I called reception and asked them to send the housekeeping to clean my room which was after 3pm. I had to ask them to change sheets, towels, sweep n mop the room. The staff listened to what was requested so I had no issues with any staff. I feel they are not trained well and they waste they day yarning away. I had asked them to get us a few plates for our lunch, but no luck, I waited for almost 20mins and went by myself to get the plates. We also requested to give a room at the ground floor but they couldn't accommodate due to full house, so not flexible if you wanna change room. Well that was my stay at Nasau and if you are looking at booking this place then better do research first before you book as you might be wasting your $$ here.

No, don't put yourself through it Wow, what a come down from a fabulous week in Fiji! Where to start…. Whilst its setting in the mountains is lovely and the pool looked good, you are in the middle of nowhere with only resort facilities, one bar (beer was cold) one restaurant (beer was hot and food worse than poor with many dishes unavailable). We booked 4 rooms with 2 of those rooms having beds with sheets already slept in. All rooms had beds and pillows which should have been replaced 30 years ago. All bathrooms were not very clean and shower drainage was poor - so wear thongs with very thick soles….clogs would probs be more appropriate. Service was slow and disorganised, bar was good, 24 hour reception was manned by a sleepy rude woman which just topped off our delightful stay. I’ve stayed in hostels cleaner and more welcoming than this at 1/20th of the price. I probably wouldn’t be so harsh in my review had the price been more reflective of the property condition. Never again. (Puppies were friendly, pregs cat is a scratcher)

As we drove up, the facility was impressive. It’s beautiful from the road and those photos are accurate. The lobby is large and has a lot of seating areas. It is very comfortable with the cross breeze. Unfortunately, it’s downhill from here. This hotel is quite a distance from Nadi town. Not a problem for our group, but could be for some. Here are the rest of my experiences and observations: No elevator: After checking in, the first thing we noticed is that there is no elevator, and I was staying on the third floor. Wi-Fi not reliable: We tried to utilize the Wi-Fi and were able to connect initially, but we were unable to connect at all after that. No hot water: We stayed two nights and was not able to get hot water for showers either day. Two cold showers. Bummer. Air Con problems: The air con in the room was on the fritz, it got so loud on the first night that I had to turn it off. It was also dripping water and left a puddle in the middle of the floor that grew to over 2 ft in diameter. Weirdly large shower doors: the sliding shower doors were too wide for the shower so when you opened the doors to get it, you have to slide in sideways. My bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Also, the bath towels had some stains and were marked “Nasau Resort” in Sharpie marker on the bottom corner which seemed really tacky. The restaurant: they have a large menu, but we’re out of at least half of the menu items including all beef. I had the pizza and it was awful. The next day I had chicken nuggets-which was better, but it was served with cold fries. The wait was very long, up to an hour and a half from ordering to being served. Some in our group ordered fish, but it looked and tasted remarkably like chicken. There’s no Wi-Fi in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet: coffee machine was down the second day which was a bummer. Two hot options (porridge and mushrooms), along with toast and juice. Water: we were advised that the tap water was not safe to drink. Water and juices were available at the breakfast buffet, but I’m not sure if the water used was safe, so I avoided it. Service staff (bar tender, waitress, and housekeeper): friendly and helpful. As I was leaving my room with my luggage, the housekeeper quickly jumped in to help carry luggage down the stairs. Store: clean and well stocked with good snacks that seemed reasonably priced. We heard rumors that the place had recently sold and the new owners were working to improve things. I hope that is true.
