A good hotel in a great location. The hotel is located by a lagoon with a sandy beach. But be prepared to pay 21 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella per day. Plus 40 euros if you want to reserve specific sunbeds for yourself. Which is very important if you come in high season.
A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost ~90 euros one way.
The food is tasty, but a bit monotonous. The emphasis is on local products and Spanish cuisine in general. In addition to the main restaurant, there are 4 other themed restaurants on the hotel grounds, which you need to book in advance. During our 8-day stay at the hotel, we only managed to get into 3 of them. Cava is served for breakfast :)
The rooms are relatively fresh and clean, but there are not enough slippers, robes and toiletries. By the way, they offer to buy robes for 30 euros if you really need them :) Also, the water drains poorly in the shower, but this problem was immediately solved after our complaint.
The animation team does a 5+ job. You will find entertainment for every taste throughout the day.

One of most beautiful hotels i have stayed in, i have now been to Mallorca 3 times & this time round decided to treat myself to some luxury for 6days. Its stunning... access to beach, choices of pools & restaurants. Entertainment throughout the day & evening. Rooms are immaculate & the staff go above & beyond to help. 10/10

Very nice stay with a fantastic friendly staff. The hotel has all facilities for a stay to enjoy sun and sea. Very friendly for families. Rooms are badic but do the job. It is definitely the staff that make a massive difference. Always smiling, friendly and helpful

Top hotel, perfect service, the food was fantastic with a wide selection of different specialties. I must also mention the very professional animation team, which always had a very interesting program and I would also like to specifically praise the animator named "Teddy", who perfectly leads activities such as Kahoot, Bingo, but also water polo, where it was a lot of fun.👏 Thank you, keep it up...👍

Hotel grounds were wonderful, friendly employees, good food, good location. Room was terrible. Couldn't use the bathroom without waking up everyone in the room (transparent wall). The most uncomfortable pillows I've ever experienced. Could hear noises from other rooms. Who designs this nonsense? Iberostar can do better.

This is an exceptional hotel. I never thought I would be somebody who returns to the same hotel most years but why would you risk your money on somewhere you don’t know when you have found somewhere so good? The facilities, food and drink are excellent. And the staff are so friendly and work so hard. Finding faults with a hotel like this feels like nitpicking but there is some room for improvement: 1. Some of the staff are almost too efficient. On numerous occasions we were asked for our plates or glasses well before we were finished. One time, a staff member took my sunglasses and half-full drink while I stepped away from the table for less than a minute. 2. The towel service is inefficient; on more than one occasion we tried to replace towels and they weren’t available. 3. Making a reservation at the restaurants is challenging. We stayed for 8 nights but could only visit 3 of the 4 special restaurants due to availability, and none in the first 3 days. 4. The entertainment is good, particularly the singers, but the quizzes were very disappointing. One was focused completely on information about the staff which meant every answer was a guess, and one was all about the film Frozen, excluding 75% of the 100+ participants. Why not cover a range of topics to ensure everyone feels included? Overall we had a great stay and hope to visit again, although the price goes up a lot each year.

I have just got back from a fantastic week at the Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa with my sons (6 and 9) and a friend with her two sons (7 and 9). The hotel is lovely-very nice clean rooms (the hotel was especially helpful and moved us to an interconnecting room on the second day once they were available), fantastic restaurants (we liked the terrace restaurant best for lunch and also tried the Spanish restaurant for dinner one night which was really good and a nice change to buffet and self service-the head waiter (Tolo?) was very friendly and helpful), and great entertainment from the amazing team there. All the staff were so helpful and friendly-the waiters even remembered what drinks our children wanted after a few days, and the greeter and managers at the restaurant always tried to get us a table outside which wasn’t always easy with a party of 6. The entertainment team were great and very sweet with all the children and put on some excellent evening shows. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!
