The two traveled to Fukuoka on their own and chose the Mercure Hot Spring Hotel. The location is very remote, and it takes an hour to get to the hotel from downtown Fukuoka. The hotel will be rebuilt in 2024. The lobby room is very clean, but it does not look like a new hotel. The service attitude of the staff is very friendly. Although the front desk said when checking in that the room will not be cleaned until the fourth day, staff will come to check the room every day when they are out. The most unforgettable thing is the hot spring, which has one session in the morning and one in the evening. The water is clean and there are large changing rooms so that ladies can take full body care without any worries!

The room is large enough, the washroom is small 45 minutes drive from Fukuoka, there is plenty of parking space for self-driving.
Suburban close to the sea, great place for leisure.
There are plenty of breakfast options, with more guests dining after 8:00.
