I did not have a good experience at Backpacker Cowie in Mumbai. The place was not clean, and to make matters worse, another guest used my bed without my permission. This made my stay very uncomfortable. I would not recommend it.

Backpacker Cowies is a great budget option in Mumbai with an excellent location near major attractions. The staff is friendly, and the common areas are social. However, I found it a bit dirty, which was disappointing. Also, there’s no on-site restaurant or bar, so plan accordingly for meals.

Convenient location, close to the main attractions. Very nice and attentive staff, you can always ask for water, cookies, helped with exchanging money. The hostel is located in a nice old building.
The room is small, mostly the bed takes up everything, the bed itself is comfortable, clean linen, the bathroom is normally equipped.
A bit expensive for a small room in a hostel, but the stay was comfortable and pleasant
