An iconic hotel in mumbai Juhu beach but unfortunately all ends there. Room are dirty and not well cleaned . Staff are polite but that about it
Breakfast is poor and not 5 star standard the bread and breakfast pastries are terrible and don’t change nor does selection of fruit just melon / raw pineapple and papaya and cheap frozen cold cuts
. There is no emotional engagement from any managers . Checking times 1500 but the room was still not ready over an hour late and just get a lousy apology
This is a hotel for cheap local clients not recommended for international guest .
A very disappointing experience and certainly not a 5 star category
Below picture of a dirty phone in a room with insects infestation on the walls inside the hotel and accumulation of dirt and dust which is just neglected after staying for over a week it’s disgusting.

23/11/2024 Sun-n-Sand Hotel Juhu Beach, Mumbai. Given its location right on Juhu Beach this is extremely good value for money. I had stayed here two years ago and enjoyed my stay immensely. So, returning to Mumbai I didn’t hesitate to book the Sun-n-Sand again. Little, if anything had changed, The reception area is large, cool and spotless. The reception staff are extremely efficient, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious well equipped and clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast is buffet style and has a remarkable range of foods. Some on request. Eggs any way you want. So from cereals to fresh fruit to Dhosa and daal. In the evening there is again a wide variety of locations and foods available. The hotel presents a very lively atmosphere due to the many weddings and events that take place. Some guests might find this intrusive or overwhelming but it all adds to the experience. It is unsurprising that there are so many events as the view itself is well worth photographing - terrace, beach, ocean and a few palm trees thrown into the mix. There is a delightful pool which is under used most of the time and sun loungers are plentiful for those willing to brave the sun. All the staff I met were very good and helpful I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Sun-n-Sand if I have the opportunity to visit Mumbai in the future.

Our three nights stay at this hotel was good. Excellent location on Juhu beach Mumbai. Bathroom & rooms were clean. Though our front garden room decor is a bit outdated and needs upgrading. Excellent service by reception & all other staffs are welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was varied and excellent though can get overcrowded later on. Nice sitting area facing the beach. My opinion it would have been nice if they had live evening music played by the swimming pool area.

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich begrüßt. Das Personal war rundum zuvorkommend und hilfreich, hat uns in die Möglichkeiten im Hotel eingewiesen, und stets zur Stelle um Fragen zu beantworten. Der direkte Strandzugang, das Ocean-View Fitness mit allen wichtigen Geräten und das Pool haben den Aufenthalt in Ergänzung zum leckeren Essen abgerundet.
