The overall experience at Asar Elite by Orion Hotel was far below expectations. To start with, the hotel is tucked away behind Hotel Sun-n-Sand and Hotel Juhu Plaza, with no independent entrance or road access, making it extremely inconvenient to locate. The exterior looks very ordinary with limited parking space, and nothing about it feels premium. The property still operates an outdated lift system, which is shared by both service staff and guests, further diminishing the experience. The breakfast buffet was another major disappointment — definitely not a lavish spread. It consisted mostly of basic items like eggs, fruits, packed juice, poha, and what they call a "sandwich" — just plain bread with butter or jam. The atmosphere felt very cheap (not price-wise, but in overall vibe), and the lobby looked rather shady, although the room size was decent. Housekeeping and cleanliness were pathetic. My bathroom had remains from previous guests, including used hairbands, dust, and clumps of hair inside drawers — clear evidence of careless cleaning. Shockingly, the hotel charges for drinking water. When I requested complimentary house water, I was told they were "out of glass bottles" and asked to purchase water instead — only to later find out that other rooms were provided with two small complimentary water bottles. The restaurant area for breakfast is simply a converted room/suite, hardly able to accommodate more than 15–17 guests at a time. Preferential treatment was also quite evident — certain "preferred guests" were served directly at their tables, while the rest of us had to queue and wait even for simple dishes like poha. Safety at night seemed questionable as well. At 6:45 AM, I found the security guard, reception staff, and other personnel sleeping on sofas in the lobby, unattended and unaware. Moreover, the staff seemed completely untrained — even basic tasks like room cleaning required multiple requests. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like training a group of new recruits. Overall, I do not recommend staying at Asar Elite by Orion Hotel. It was a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience, and I would advise future travelers to look for better alternatives in Juhu.
