On 30.05.25 we arrived at this place for one night. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The only things that impressed me were the lock in the bathroom, which was constantly jammed and the door handle, which was half-falling off, and in the morning I found a blood stain on my sheet, after which I realized that it had not been changed and I was sleeping on a used one.

This charming guesthouse is nestled in a tranquil, picturesque location—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The beds were comfortable, and all essential amenities were provided for a convenient stay. However, the property showed noticeable signs of wear and tear that detracted from the overall experience. Issues like ripped curtains, a malfunctioning door, a damaged lampshade, and stained furniture (as shown in the photos) suggest a need for updates and deeper cleaning. While the setting and basics were lovely, a bit more attention to maintenance and upkeep would elevate this otherwise delightful stay.

A little out of the way but very worth the extra drive - note that the road out to the guesthouse is gravel and the driveway is a bit steep. Lovely clean little house with a nice kitchen area, tidy rooms, and good bathrooms. Great views. Owners and other guests were very pleasant. We didn’t take advantage of purchasing meals but they looked very good.

This is a cozy smaller guest house with a warm and welcoming Staff set in a quiet rural farm setting. Elisa was so warm she made us feel comfortable right away and we enjoyed meeting some of the fellow guests. We didn’t order any meals but both dinner and breakfasts are available and looked very yummy and were reasonably good value for Iceland. The outdoor table area is very cute. The kitchen worked well for cooking dinner and breakfast even though it’s on the smaller side. Although it wasn’t fancy it was very comfortable and the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms nice for showering. We would happily stay here again.

Aucun accueil, seulement des inscriptions sur des tableaux blancs accrochés aux portes. Les lieux sont mal entretenus. Et surtout : nous avons du fuir au milieu de la nuit car la literie grouillait de punaises de lit. We had to leave in a hurry in the middle of the night, because of the bed bugs infestation.
