Lindarhóll Guesthouse

House with six very comfortable bedrooms, some with private bathrooms, others with shared bathrooms. The bed is super comfortable, the (private) bathroom is very functional and pleasant, the environment is very peaceful and quiet, and the breakfast, although not the best in Iceland, does its job. We had the pleasure of meeting Márcia, a Portuguese woman from Porto, who was extremely helpful, friendly and gave us valuable directions. Be careful with Google Maps: it's on a private road that, if it's snowy, don't risk it (things could go very wrong and you could get stuck there) and on another public road that may be a little further away, but will be clear of snow (if there's no catastrophe...)

Excellent structure far from the town center. Recommended a 4x4 car. Very well cared for, it seems like a 4 star location. Breakfast nothing to complain about. At the entrance please leave your shoes in the entrance to avoid dirtying the interior. Good thing, but in the evening we had gone out for dinner in the nearby town and had left our bedroom slippers to change on our return. Too bad that a couple of Spanish tourists thought that our slippers were offered by the house and took them, leaving us "on foot". So don't do as we did. For the rest, a structure to take into serious consideration
