SpringHill Suites Charleston Mount Pleasant

Great location. Unfortunately they need better management. Your staff and operations are a reflection of your leader and all the issues we had lead back to poor management. Upon checking in we found the front desk to be short handed with only one person working on 4th of July weekend, plus I overheard travel ball baseball teams were there as well. When we finally checked into our room we found it had not been cleaned well. We even found a used stained washcloth at the edge of the mattress which should have been found “IF” they actually changed the sheets. Front desk lady was extremely apologetic and moved us to another room next floor up. The elevators were slow due to so many people there so we used the stairs. Bad part is the doors to the stairs from the bottom floor were locked. Their GM later emailed me that this wasn’t his fault and couldn’t believe they were locked. Next afternoon my daughter called down to ask for more towels because they only had 2 in the bathroom and Miya told her she would have to come get them then hung up on her. My daughter went down and she asked her how many towels and my daughter told her 5. She stopped and rudely said 5? Why? But then walked away to get them. A day after checking out I received an alert of an extra charge on my card. I called the hotel and Miya couldn’t tell me why or what the charge was. She hardly would allow me to talk so I asked for the GM to call me back on Monday. She told me I would just need to call him that she couldn’t leave him a message. So I emailed Kyle (GM) asking him to please calk me about some issues. He never called he only emailed with excuses. I even replied back “thank you for the call”.

The property is fine for the what I use it for. The remodel some of it. It's funny the have hair dryers in the room but the do not fit in any of the outlets, after there upgrades.

Granddaughters graduation Pricey but really nice. Staff was welcoming and provided outstanding service

Great Stay I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. My room had beautiful views of the bridge. I will definitely stay here again.
