Our first visit was in 2016, and we had good memories of that stay. That is why we booked three nights again in December 2024. Our second visit was not that great because we found the hotel to be lacking international standards. We do understand that the hotel suffered a lot from the pandemic business loss, but we felt that a bit more could have been done to keep the standards after five years or at least reduced the price for foreigners to fit the standards the hotel currently offered. We had a difficult time getting towels to use in the gym after asking over 4 times. The answer was that the laundry machine was broken. The gym was filthy, and most machines were broken. We managed to do some exercise with the two working machines. Live music at dinner was way too loud and played until close to 11 p.m., which made it difficult to rest in the evening or even hear the TV. Breakfast buffet was good, but we opted not to eat all our meals eat at the hotel. Staff members were nice, and we had a comfortable room with nice ocean view. We hope the hotel can pull the standards back up to be more appealing to international guests.
