Ikos Oceania

We went to Ikos Oceania with our toddler for our belated honeymoon for 10 nights, and it was everything we hoped for, and more. The hotel greeted us and made us feel so welcome and comfortable, which was tough as we arrived late due to flight alterations with a very tired toddler. We were greeted with refreshing towels and some key information, which they sat and went through. Luckily they could see we were tired and didn't bombard us with too much information. We were added to a Whatsapp chat, which allowed us to speak to the hotel any time for complaints, room service, requests or restaurant bookings. The room we had was a junior suite with a private garden, and it was perfect for us. It was spotless, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We had a lovely, thoughtful welcome present for our honeymoon which was a nice touch. Room service was excellent, using the Whatsapp chat, ensuring our toddler had a nice breakfast before going to the creche. The Creche was great, and allowed us to have some nice time together for breakfast or lunch while our toddler had some fun. We also used the babysitting service, which allowed a member of the creche staff to come to our room, and take our child out to dinner and for a walk to the playground before putting them to bed, while we had a lovely honeymoon dinner on the beach. Our child had a lovely time and we would definitely recommend this. The pool areas are large and spacious, always with plenty of sunbeds available. Excellent and attentive staff were always on hand for towels, drinks and snacks. The food was amazing in each restaurant, which, with the All Inclusive package, we were able to sample a lot of. We used each restaurant multiple times for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food was excellent quality throughout. My personal favourite was the Greek restaurant, which had an amazing lunchtime bbq. Thoroughly recommended. Not only was the food amazing, but so were the staff, who were so attentive, to us and our child, who they constantly interacted with and kept entertained. Overall, this resort is amazing, and we cannot wait to go back one day. Everything from the setting, to the food, to the unbelievable staff who couldn't do enough for us and made our honeymoon perfect. A huge personal thank you to Ikos.

The resort is beautiful, we were greeted with a warm welcome and stunning views from the offset. We loved the concierge what’s app service, and the opted for the concierge to book us a selection of restaurants over the course of our stay. Unfortunately the weather was hit and miss and we found there was very little to do with young children when it rained. There outdoor park is covered from the sun but not rain. Most of the children’s activities are in the kids club which we were reluctant to put them in all of the time. We had a slight issue with our luggage being damaged but Athanasia was fantastic and resolved this for us.

Complete luxury every single day. Food and service cannot be beaten and the resort is beautiful and offers everything couples or families could wish for. Rooms are due for an upgrade soon but do not let that put you off, they are still immaculate and have everything you might want. Sea views and sunsets are breathtaking

We went as a couple and had a lovely time. Excellent restaurants and the customer service was exceptional. The facilities are also well suited to a family break and we will visit again with our family. A courtesy car is provided to allow exploration of the area as well as a shuttle bus into the nearby village. However it is so easy to stay on the resort as everything is there and the staff and facilities are wonderful.

My partner and I (early 30s) have just returned from Ikos Oceania and we have never been as impressed with a hotel as we have with this one. Hands down, a perfect hotel for a relaxing holiday in Greece and we cannot recommend enough. Every restaurant was incredible, so much so that we can’t pick a favourite, including the dine out option on offer. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all exceptional. Every review here speaks about the staff in some way and to a person they are all so willing to make your experience memorable. From check in to check out, nothing was too much for them and they are unbelievably helpful. The hotel has a WhatsApp service linked to your room where you can literally request anything you want, from food and drinks to your room or even pillows from a pillow menu and a plug in mosquito repellant if needed. This WhatsApp function also allows you to book restaurants or activities with ease. It really works and elevates the experience even further. No is not an answer in the vocabulary and customer service has clearly been perfected here. What we found most impressive was that we probably had a different holiday to other groups in the hotel. Whether you’re a couple like us, a family, a group of friends and whatever age you are, Ikos Oceania absolutely caters for all. If you want evening entertainment, it’s there. If you want your children looked after, it’s there again. If you want adults only sections, it’s there. Tennis, football, volleyball, table tennis, gym, spa, water skiing, jet skis etc. there again. If you want a more private couples holiday (which we did) again you absolutely can. You can also take your pick from the multiple pools they have or the incredible sandy beach where staff are still available to bring you whatever you want. It’s genuinely impressive. If we had to find a fault, the only down side for us is that the area surrounding the hotel isn’t particularly nice (the hotel beach is immaculate) and there is not much there, however, this was never a holiday of exploration for us and this also may have been down to us going towards the end of the season (mid-late October). The rooms could potentially do with an upgrade but not enough to put us off at all. If you want a top of the pile, all inclusive hotel then this is undoubtedly one of the best and we will absolutely be returning and visiting other Ikos hotels in the future. Outstanding.

We’ve been coming to this beautiful place since 2016 and still one of my favourite places. I love to travel to different places and this is the only hotel I’ve been to more than once and have since recommended friends and family who have also loved it and rebooked. Apart from being a beautiful place to relax, it’s a whole sensory experience! Taking in all the blue of the sky, sea and pool, listening to the waves of the Aegean with views of Mount Olympus, the hotel always smells out of this world! I want that in my house!! And the food is just amazing and a massive part of the reason we keep going back. Along with the cocktails, extensive wines and most importantly the brilliant and welcoming staff. It was lovely to see Vasilis still there who we remember from our first trip. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need and more. The only question is, when can I come back again!
