I went with my 6 year old grandson everyone was friendly and helpful I will be booking again.

In family room which carpet needed a good clean. Overall tho the room was fine. But next to a loading bay and road noise when window is open. We did have a great weekend and found overnight street parking.

Standard Travelodge accommodation with basic and clean rooms. The location is brilliant, a couple of minutes walk to the beach front. That’s the only real positive. The hotel backs onto a large loading bay with a lot of noise, very early in the morning! There is no parking on site, which means the only option is one of two council car parks nearby. Once you’ve worked out the instructions, several return trips to the parking machine is required, including one at 8 am! For an overnight stay you will be in excess of £10. Surely Travelodge can liaise with the council and arrange a better solution for guests to park overnight?

Staff are very pleasant and the hotel is in a great location but overall the experience was poor . We should have had 3 breakfast boxes but only 2 were available for a party of 3 cyclists . Rooms were very hot and there was a lot of noise from plant/ air conditioning equipment just outside of the window . With that and the National clog dancing team who appeared to be practicing in the room above soured the overall visit. Also the dirty pants on the roof that are visible from the first floor lobby windows should probably be removed .
