The room was big, but there were stains on counters and the floors, the lights in the bathroom were actually coming out of the wall, and the shower had multiple faucets at different levels for no apparent reason. The hallways once you left the lobby smelt very musty and bad. Overall very weird atmosphere but the location was great.

As soon as I opened the door, I was hit by a foul smell. The window could not be opened. I guess it was because the toilet pipes were old. The drainage in the bathtub was very slow. The feet had to be soaked in water to bathe, which felt very dirty. The flush of the toilet often could not be turned on, causing the toilet to flow continuously. For breakfast, there were croissants (hot and crispy), which were quite delicious, and donut cereal, with very light coffee, milk, and jam. Anyway, you can eat enough. The parking fee is 30 Canadian dollars a day plus tax. We parked across the street. It said that we could park from 11 pm to 8 am, but we saw many cars parked like this, so we didn't care. The room is really old

Good location, the airport bus stop is close. The breakfast was nice. They provide free luggage storage, if your flight leaves at night you can still see the city.

Conveniently located for exploring the city, close to the metro and bus station. It's a capsule hotel where you have an electronic card for a large luggage locker, a locker for shoes (on a lower level, in the basement), and you can enter the capsule area with sandals using the same card. The bathrooms are cleaned several times a day, and the shower water was excellent. They provide towels as a deposit for 5 Canadian dollars, which is refunded upon checkout. The internet works very well.

I’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay.
It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference.
TLDR;
Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room
Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.

I recommend this hotel to people who travel Montreal and Quebec.
The location is not that bad. It is easy to get train station.
Everything is clean and private curtain for all bed.
Also, all staff are sooo nice!

The room is not big, the facilities are average, but the service is good. The location is also very convenient, very close to the subway and bus, and it is also very convenient to eat next to Chinatown.

I booked a hotel in advance through Ctrip and paid in full. They didn't say anything when I checked out. When I returned to China, there was an extra 238 RMB on my credit card bill. I asked the travel agency and the hotel admitted that they deducted the money from my card without informing me. The explanation was that the room rate had increased that day so I had to pay the difference. Ctrip stepped in to resolve the issue satisfactorily and the hotel refunded the fee. I like CTRIP.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is still as good as before. The facilities are very complete and it is a relatively new hotel in the area. The breakfast is also very good. I will choose to stay here next time.

Great
GGuest UserThe local is perfect, close to downtown, so there are many groceries, restaurants and shopping stores. The hotel also not far from attractions such as old montreal, old port ~ 2 km (walkable). The room was very clean and enough space for 2 persons and luggage. The Amenities were excellent, I liked that there was sofa in the room. So, highly recommend, absolutely worth for money

Great
孟孟The environment is OK, in the city center, 18 kilometers from the airport and more than 1 kilometers from the railway station
When I got there, I just caught up with the elevator and broke down
The service is very good. When it rains, there will be a waiter with an umbrella standing at the door to take you into the car
The breakfast variety is a bit small, but the bread is very fresh and delicious. The girl who served smiled very sweetly. After I ordered hot milk on the first day, when I got there the next day, the girl asked immediately and needed hot milk. Well, the sense of distance is gone all at once, it feels good
The door of the room is a bit thin and not soundproof. Fortunately, foreigners can pass by in the corridor quietly during sleeping hours. There is only one lock in the room, which is a bit insecure for the Chinese; mineral water is not provided in the room. But there is a hot pot, as long as there is it, we Chinese will not be afraid

Great
GGuest UserThe room is OK, but the service is basically equal to no. The opening time of the front desk check-in was originally 4-7 in the afternoon. When we asked in advance, we said that it would be about six o'clock. As a result, when the door was closed at six o'clock, the front desk was already missing. I found that I sent us an email for self-check-in after five o'clock, and the sense of relaxation at work was shocking. The keys were thrown in the mailbox at the door, and I left a phone call but said that there was no emergency. The parking lot was difficult to find because the instructions were unknown. Not recommended unless you like this self-groping experience

Very Good
EepiceOverall very satisfied, brand new hotel, the price is far lower than the hotel booked in other cities. The location of the hotel is excellent, there is a subway station exit diagonally opposite, and it is very convenient to take to St. Joseph's Church and the old city. The room is a bit small, but there are also some. The best thing is that breakfast is free, far more choices than Toyoko, the automatic muffin machine is too cute. Recommended. There are two shortcomings: 1 Too new, the smell in the corridor is quite big, the room is fine; 2 There are many homeless people on the nearby Katherine Pedestrian Street, and the atmosphere is a bit scary.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 4 nights and the location is perfect. It's in between two metro stations, both are about 6-7 mins walk (Champ de Mars, and Saint Laurent) depends which line you are in. We arrived by train and took the metro at Bonaventure (this is connected to the Central station: ”Gare Centrale”) and arrived at Champ de Mars. There is a supermarket 5 mins away (”IGA”) and the airport bus station is by the hotel. Chinatown is 7 mins away and make sure you visit Sammi dumplings. There is a food court (”Le Central”) 5 mins away although we found it slightly expensive. The Old Port of Montreal and Notre-Dame Basilica are about 15 mins away from the hotel.
Facilities: As a number of people said, the rooms are quite basic and need a lot of uplift. Our room doesn't have any sofa (which was different from the pictures here) but functional so there is no complain. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans. We cooked our dinner twice.
Staff and service: all staff are friendly and very helpful, gave advice on directions and always have a smile.
SSanning Heung LingRoom is pretty spacious
With Starbucks and Tim Hortons close by
Walking distance to St Catherine for shopping
About 30-45 mins walk to China town and old Montreal.
