Hotel William Gray

I love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

We had a family wedding at the hotel. Their attention to detail was wonderful. The food was delicious and the staff at the wedding provided very professional friendly service We stayed at the hotel and it was very obvious they spent the money where a customer would appreciate it most ...... the bed, the pillows, the sheets, the bathrobes, the shower all fabulous. Our wedding guests who stayed at the hotel were extremely happy with the service and accommodations as well.

Great hotel very class front desk are amazing and bet professional, we were there for a weeding and good was excellent , the valet service super service, the room are beautiful smell good everywhere in the hotel bed very comfortable thank you

We always stay here whenever we visit Montreal. The hotel is in the centre of Old Montreal and within walking distance to great dining, shopping and attractions. A true gem. The rooms are extremely comfortable and pretty. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again soon for Jazz Festival. Bravo!!!

Excellent property right near the old Port. Steps from lots of dinning options. Great staff. Recommend to anyone who wants to be near the Old Port.
