Our flight with Air Canada was canceled for the 2nd time and they gave us a voucher for this hotel. The lobby had a strong putrid cigarette smell. The check in desk was dirty with dried on food and other unknown crust. The gentleman at the desk was nice and quick. We walked into the room to find a very dirty stained up carpeting and the previous person's items in the bathroom behind the door. We were exhausted and at the end of our rope or I would have left to find a different hotel. I went to use the room phone to call the desk and found it was disgustingly dirty. The TV channel's did not include CNN, Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC or any local news channel. Then our TV stopped working. The employee at the desk said he needed to wait for the maintenance worker to return from driving the shuttle. He never came down so I asked again at 5am and they did come to fix it. The hotel has a breakfast but I would not eat there. When I went to close my suitcase to leave two cockroaches ran on the wall. There was also a dead one in the bathroom. When leaving we saw many other people from the canceled flight and they also wanted to leave the hotel as their rooms had cockroaches also. The entire room was not clean. It's old and I don't know if it can be considered clean like that. There is a buildup of disgusting liquids and foods everywhere. It seems like they are so busy they are just trying to survive instead of having pride on how the hotel presents itself.
